love old school posters!

I have to say my favorite is Cliff and his third person thing.

However I have had many a great work day reading the likes of Sham, Duck, Ben B, kyrv, gran, musiq, etc.

I appreciate pictures of Scott Skiles applying Crisco to Ben Gordon's shoes.

I appreciate Sophia Busch avatars, but not as much as Peter Sellers avatars.

I appreciate references to Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

I appreciate threads detailing the idiocy of the "win score" metric.

I appreciate charicatures of Doug Thonus' face.

I appreciate the username username.

And I appreciate whoever it was that made that bet with Bernard King and won. Because BK **** sucked.

Been on vacation with the family, bro. Was able to get only sporadic and weak internet access from a leeched wireless network. Even still, I posted more than I should have done in order to break the monotony of grading.

Getting back to the topic:
I appreciate Granville Colter, who sports a really cool username and plays the role of our own personal board trainer in addition to discussing hoops.

Hey, that reminds me... I tried to do that once & was ignored.

But that's ok. I appreciate how many times I've posted on a completely good thread, bringing it to a screaching halt (embarassingly having the last comment while the thread slides to page 2) and nobody every says "dude, did you realize how many times you post & kill a thread & it slides to page 2?"

Thank you all for that!

I thought I was the King of that.

I appreciate Bulls fans' ability to spell Kirk Hinrich's last name correctly.

However, I don't appreciate non-Bulls fans' ability to spell Kirk Hinrich's last name correctly.

I never used to like Ben B's avatar, I'm not quite sure why but I found it somewhat degrading to Wallace, as if he's a little bitch..

I'm glad to say that my feelings have changed, with recent basketball performances in mind, I love the avatar, it's actually quite fitting.

Therefore, I appreciate the beauty of Ben B's avatar.

To Granville and suckfish, it only recently occurred to me that my signature in particular is ridiculously outdated and needs to be changed. I only ever picked the sig and the avatar b/c of the way that they emphasize famous Bens (something that I will never be). But now it sickens me to be sporting Big Ben in either. So I'll be choosing a new sig some time soon. The avatar, maybe not-- but only b/c I appreciate it when posters keep the same avys for a long time. I appreciate the familiarity (to keep with the thread theme) that comes from associating a particular poster with a particular pic. That's why I used to find it so traumatic whenever jack finn would stray from Peter Sellers, or when my fellow mod dumped the alcoholic duck.

dougthonus never disappoints, though.
