I disagree. I think he could make Marbury into Baron Davis because they are essentially the same player. heck, he even liked Marbury in PHX. Eddy is an offensive minded person in the post. He made Q look great with PHX and Jamal Crawford would have no problems following SSOL. Plus they have a top pick in the draft. Bold Prediction: Knicks make the playoffs next year.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

I hope D'Antoni doesn't complain as he watches his team win 35 games every season for the next few years

Focus!

If this turned out to be a money issue, it was the choice of Jerry Reinsdorf and not John Paxson.

Baron Davis >>>>>>>>>>>>> Marbury

There's no way Curry can play in D'Antoni's uptempo system. So will D'Antoni try to play the style he put in with Phoenix after they got Shaq? That totally screwed up Steve Nash's game, as Shaq clogged the lane too much.

I can't say I'm surprised that we lost out in a bidding war.

Oh well, I guess we'll see how good of a coach D'Antoni truly is with the rost in NY.

I'm too dejected to get angry. I'm sure we'll trade the #9 pick for some BS, won't resign Deng or Gordon and will have Hughes starting at SG in 09.

Money Talks Bull Sh*t Walks.....D'Antoni will regret that decision he made.

Thank God, because D'Antoni wasn't going to be a savior.

If he couldnt win with a roster that had Nash/JoeJohnson/Q/Marion/Amare, how in the hell would he win with our team?

His style of baketball does not win Championships.. Doesnt even take you too the NBA Finals.

Reinsdorf offered him Chuckie Cheese tokens and a sundae.

Stephen A Smith on now. He's basically saying it came down to indecisiveness from the Bulls and D'Antoni was not going to wait. Also saying it's going to be hard to find another coach since Jerry doesn't seem to think he has to spend money.

He also believes Jamal Crawford would flourish in the system.

Do you think Avery Johnson carries bibles in Spanish with him?

Oh, no doubt this is on JR. Paxson will probably fall on the sword in the media, but we all know this one is on Jerry's refusal to pay and poor recruiting job.

I have no idea why I follow this team.

Paxson is a dumbass. Seriously, if you are going to have a strict budget on everything, don't overpay everyone. Also, learn to treat people like human beings.

JR is cheap. This is the equivalent of a small market team. It would be much easier to accept these types of things if I knew the Bulls were struggling financially.

This team is doomed to mediocrity at best for the next decade.

Marbury is never going to be 'Starbury' again, and the Knicks have enormous chemistry issues. There's a tough road ahead still.

Now? Yes. He's had terrible coaches since D'Antoni. Marbury and Baron are very similar. One was just given permission to run. The other wasn't.

On the bright hand, we know what kind of coach Dan Tony is. He's the kind of guy that wouldn't develop D.J. Strawberry. Do we really want that in a coach?

.........

Heh.

New Orleans really really looks like a fun team to watch right now.
