Given how badly this game could've gone so far, you can't be too upset at it being just a two-point game at the half. Would've been nice for the Spurs psychologically to have the lead at the half though.

I would be shocked if he was able to make those same shots in the 2nd half. Fools gold. He already had his miracle game in this series.

Meanwhile, the Spurs need to do a much better job defending the 3 and rebounding! If they don't have a lead going into the 4th quarter, I don't see them winning. I hope they come out in the 3rd and put up a 32-10 spot on Miami to take a commanding lead... I guess I can dream.

Yeah he seems to have lost his confidence. I really hope Timmy and Tony pull him to the side and give him a pep talk.

Heat lookin' good so far, Wade is playing well and making shots. Spurs need to kick it up a notch or else they are done in this game.

Miami's shooters will convert their chances, let's just hope the Spurs can respond.

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

Even though it's a two point game, it feels like it's only a matter of time before the Heat go on a big run. It seems like the Spurs are having to work harder for their shots. Hopefully I'm wrong.

It's vital for the Spurs to keep this close heading into the 4th. If the home fans have a chance to get fired up during a 10 or 12 point run near the end of the 3rd (or to open it, honestly) it could be lights out for the Spurs.

They just have to stick around. Play smart. Just stick around.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think the Heat roll in the late 3rd/early 4th.

Spurs are shooting 35% and only 2-7 from three. They'll shoot much better in the second.

I'm just waiting for the inevitable to happen.
14 years is a nice run but it's time to end the Paxson era.

I agree. I feel like the scoreboard doesn't do justice the momentum the Heat has.

The end of the 3rd quarter-early part of the 4th has been the story of the series. That is where you will find out who has the most energy left. I'm worried for the Spurs. Miami already has made 5 threes, the Spurs have only made 2, they're losing the rebounding battle, and nobody has really stepped up to be that 3rd scorer. Parker and Duncan are in double figures, and Ginobli has 7. Need at least 3 guys to take over this second half.

Agreed.

After the way that game 6 ended, i would have thought they would be down 8-12 points by now.

They need to hold on in this 3rd though. That may make or break their hopes. The 3 ball needs to fall.

Spurs need to send a bench goon in and mug LeBron James or Wade. It's the last game, who cares if they get suspended.
