Scratching my head a little at Horford-to-Philly. I don't see Horford as PF, he's a C, and they have Embiid. They're really going to try to go Embiid/Horford/Harris/Richardson/Simmons?

Yep, I knew that Butler wasn't going to stay either with the Wolves or the Sixers.

Guessing they need a backup insurance for Embiid and his sketchy healthy.

Yeah I don't know what Philly has been doing the last year or so.

Riley just Godfathered Morey lol.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

Embiid only plays 32 mins and misses a lot of games. Horford will likely play 16 mins at center and 16 mins at PF a game.

When the dust settles this deal could be disastrous for Miami.

They’re trading Richardson and have to shed more salary for this sign and trade to work. We’ll see who else they lose.

I gotta believe Kawhi is staying with the Raptors on a one plus one and that some of the players know that from the most recent moves.

-Never really bought the Lakers. Does he really want to be the third star on a team with no depth to allow for load management who has had constant medical issues the past few years.

-With Horford and Butler off the board, there is no second legit star to join up with the Clippers. And even if they want to dump Gallinari to get someone else, Mavs and Knicks are really the only places left to do so.

Sixers came out way ahead w Josh Richardson on that contract.

To then pay Horford dumb money with an awful fit.

News broke on twitter that Miami was his likely destination 20 minutes before he said anything.

He literally just said what insiders on twitter as well as radio, and yes ESPN have been spectating about for days.

We have guys that claim to be insiders that just state what you can find on sports Twitter.

Not slamming all “insiders”, but some’s only insight is available to all.

Tobias is a 4 too. Dumb Horford signing. Should have bought multiple shooters.

holv has been warned, and as such, will be dealt with behind the scenes if necessary.

Let's not turn this thread into discussing specific posters. Let's get back to talking about the free agency.

Tobias is a 3/4 that probably leans 4.
Horford is a 4/5 that probably leans 5.
Embiid is a pure 5.

Would probably be best to take one off the bench to start the game so that they can better spell each other in the rotation and have more balanced lineups, but egos probably prevent that.

That Philly starting lineup is massive. They should be the best defensive team in the league, or close to it.
