Worse.

On a different note, Bam Adebayo is the 2nd best center in the East and belongs on the All Star team. He's better than Drummond, Vucevic, Gasol. There, I said it.

How bad is Atlanta? Bad enough to be down 30 at home to a Bucks team that doesn't have Giannis. That bad. And Orlando squeaks out the win against Philly despite Fournier and Fultz doing twin choke jobs down the stretch, they were a combined 3-8 in free throws over the last minute or so when Philly was fouling intentionally.

I'd take him to start a team over kobe any day of the week. yet kobe has the fistful of rings

I mean no offense at all when I say this, but: Duh!

i bet if you started a poll on the general board, over 70% would take kobe. and it wouldn't be much different on the lakers board

Well yea, but you gotta consider recency bias and the fact that 95%+ have never seen him play

There's a whole field of study on this: biomechanics. Athletes work on their biomechanics all the time.

This guy explains some of what's going on with Zion:

I have a vague memory of at least Roy Hibbert and more recently Myles Turner changing their gait/walking/running in a major way.

OT: Niko is doing quite well in the ACB & Euro League. Even better at Barça than when he was at RM. Seems to have found his groove. 3Pt% down but all other stats are higher. Glad for him.

Will Oladipo return soon for Indiana? I really wonder how they will compete in the playoffs with Oladipo - Brogdon backcourt and that solid group of players.

Thanks for the info, I have zero familiarity with biomechanics. I'll definitely check it out.

Seriously Miami has some magic when it comes to playing at home. They have been on the brink of losing for the last like 6 games at home and always have found a way to squeak out a victory.

Daniel Gafford has been defending surprisingly well as a rookie center.

FG% allowed within 5' of the rim by centers (min 7 FGA/game):
B.Lopez 51.2%
Gafford 53.7%
Mitchell Robinson 53.9%
Whiteside 54.7%
McGee 55.2%
M.Gasol 55.2%
Anthony Davis 57.7%
Embiid 60.0%

3.9 blocks per 36 minutes.
Surprisingly only about 6 rebounds per 36, but he seems to be always contesting shots which leaves the rebounding to the other players.

He could be a damn good 2nd round pickup.
Maybe we'll stop selling these.

Man an in the prime Rose/Lavine/Butler/Markkanen/Noah lineup would have been so fun to watch.

He is. Bam is a damn beast. Will only get better too. 2 way monster in the future. Crazy motor and athleticism and skill. Spo has done a great job with him.

I wonder if the OKC brass will regret what is going on right now. OKC is 17-15 at the moment. A 7th seed in the West. SGA is playing much better and earlier than expected.
