He is a child.

Like, eyes wide open, looks like his brain is moving 100 miles an hour. He has soooooooooo much to work on.

Also, he is a good athlete, don't get me wrong. But I do not see ELITE athleticism. Laterally, I don't see elite. Good, maybe great leaper. Good speed, not great. If your gonna draft a high upside athlete, he had better be a elite at it. I don't think he is. He turned 19 in August. We'll have to wait 3 years before we actually see what we have.

I'll wait...

At his size, rare athletic tools. How many guys in the league can compare at any one time? A few.

He is 6'7 (some have him at 6'8) 220 lbs.

There are a ton of guys at that size AND at his athleticism that work at Best But after flaming out.

If you look at a player for just his upside...I don't see enough upside. If he completely maxes out, like reaches the fullest of potential, I still don't know how good that is.

Not one highlight shows any level of advanced ballhandling, of playmaking ability, of a quick shot release, of ANY standout trait.

Again, I'm willing to wait it out, cuz I will give the benefit of the doubt but... I don't know if the best Patrick Williams can be is better then who will be drafted behind him.

This is a really interesting quote coming from a very young player.

If this thinking is an indicator of his passion and seriousness for the game, I like it.

Another good read on Williams. What I liked about this is his willingness to learn defense and his understanding/acknowledgement that as a freshman, he probably won't be the focal point of the offense with a veteran laden team so he focuses on where he can help the team.

As a prospect he reminds me a bit of Jaylen Brown. Big wing athletic wing who can guard 2-4 with offensive upside.

If he gets to Deng level, we should all do cartwheels. A Deng level player at 4 in this draft is a complete success.

He's 19, I’ll be mildly surprised if he doesn’t settle in at 6’8-6’9 235

anyway i have no opinion on the pick. i was hoping for ball almost solely for the meme potential. nice size and seemingly athletic. let's see what happens.

We’ve had fun with underdog teams but always had really special guys who could rise above. They’ve showed that ability early on. We have nobody like that now.

His floor is Derrick Williams, James Johnson, Nassir Little and every other semi-fluid athlete that doesn't produce in the NBA. The only thing he has going for him is he seems to have a good personality and work ethic, which some of the above lacked. Let's see if that makes the difference.

Per the bulls own website he’s a “good if not great” athlete and “more of a 4 than a 3”. Way to start the hype train!

A very young guy with great defensive potential straight away. The offense is not there yet but from what I’ve seen there’s actually a lot to work with and he has some good tools.

Offense looks pretty good to me so far

Michael Beasley. But he has an above average offensive game.

why? you're a fortune teller? he was projected anywhere from 6 to late lottery in a draft that is a complete crapshoot outside the top 3 and his value seemingly skyrocketed after teams actually had a chance to look at him closely.
