is it actually a big brain move to never pass to kmet so that the defense forgets he exists and he can be wide open in the end zone?

I think the time has finally come to make the switch and he feels the same.

It’s exactly what they need to set up the pass. Be physical with Monongai first.

Also noticed that penalties were not an overwhelming problem

Also, it appears they were giving Caleb less of the field to process on that drive.

What makes you think he less field to process how do you make this determination without knowing the play design

Just make Moore the starting RB. He's better and hitting the hole than swift and he'd be better as a catching threat out of the backfield

No receiver desires to be a full time rb

It’s Dallas, but Caleb has earned props. And the defense isn’t “good” but good enough. The Bears stopped the freefall and weren’t ready to quit on themselves. The upside appears fairly limited. But it’s a start.

Unless they start utilizing Burden. Then, we are in the Superbowl

we may have been a bit harsh on the defense considering we are down our three best corners, but the DL is still performing at an extremely dissapointing level. Our run defense shouldn't be this bad. I think maybe billings needs to be instereted as a starter. But still, only allowing 14 points (so far) is pretty good against this offense.

Williams is having what i consider his best game. back to back weeks were he's not frantic in the pocket. still a couple easy misses but overall, no big deal. and he's running this offense to near perfection today.

It could be that they know Eberflus well too. I'd need to see more before declaring them even 'good enough'.

A horrible call by the refs turned into an interception on the next play.

This is what I was thinking...but damn, the entire team looks genuinely good today on both sides. Dallas isn't some worldbeater, but they're an all right team this year.

Can we sustain this in coming weeks? Guess the game isn't over yet, a Bears-esque explosion is certainly possible. but I'm hyped!!

Offense is playing well, they're scheming some great plays against a lousy defense, and Caleb is making the vast majority of the throws. Great execution all around.

Defense really hasn't been very good. A couple lucky breaks on the interception (on a ball that just bounces off the receivers hands for no reason) and fumble recovery after that huge run have made it look a lot more stable when the Cowboys have been moving the ball at will.

It feels like either DJ or Kmet will be traded soon. DJ just doesn't seen to get enough touches in this offense and I don't think they'll move Kmet whilst Loveland is a rookie. We could still run a lot of 2 TE sets.

Burden looks like he might be ready alongside Rome & Zaccheaus if there's a good package for DJ out there.

The defense was getting rolled, but mostly stiffened when it had to early. Meanwhile the Bears were making movie scene plays getting too far ahead for Dallas to stay with their plans. The Bears suddenly stopped committing penalties en masse today, and maintained scoring drives after awhile. The defense had the advantage after all that. Need to see them dial up more pressure for sure in coming weeks to survive.
