I think available is too strong a word right now, but he was "insulted" by the initial offer their contract negotiations has been the main news around the team.

From Sac's pov I think they started doing some #s on how they can afford this team...Fox will get max, Bagley will get max, Barnes is getting $24M for 1 year, Hield probably wants a max, and Bogdanovic is going to be VERY expensive to keep. The Kings offered him $10 per year but he's going to get a ton more than that IMO.

I do think someone is going to exit Sac eventually, although I don't know if it will be Buddy. He was pretty core to their success.

There is no team that couldn’t use him. I guess if GSW is at full health nit them but a dude that shoots like him. I would love him just don’t know how and anything they would be willing to trade for would cost them too... too bad the Maloofs aren’t still their they seemed like they could be fleeced.

I would be shocked if they let him go.

They offered him $22.5M per year. He wants $27.5M per year. Can they really afford to let him walk over $5M per year?
How do you replace him? Tank another full season for another top 10 pick? Because getting Harrison Barnes type players for $22M per year isn't a better use of money. It wouldn't even get you close to a Tobias Harris, who costs $36M per year.

Looks like OPJ is the number 1 FA in 2020 which makes almost certain he opts out and get maxed.
Before the Bulls lose him for nothing, I would actively pursue a trade for Bogs, Crowder, Iguodala, Covington, etc.
Im just shocked Brown got 4/115 who was my primary target. With the recent extensions, the Bulls need to hurry up for alternatives.
Lamelo will be a future superstar Bull. Book it. Lavar for president!

What I could see is that Bulls pay Otto, only to have Hutch become better. :D

Heat fans on the trade board like Felicio for Waiters. Waiters is a disgruntled wing, maybe he can fill in at the backup small forward spot?

Miami gets under the cap with this move and saves 4.5 million a a year for two years. Bulls take the risk of Dions personality, but get some competence behind OPJ.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong
