Mentioned where?

Jake Weinbach from Fansided mentioned it... It's not even a rumour it's just his idea I believe.

I called for this trade last season and people said it was bullchit.

Someone else coming up with the same idea is repetition not validation.

Damn, home run for Miami. They just keep winning. Wonder why LA traded away their 2nd leading scorer after winning 50. I guess they're 100% confident in Kawhi playing all season?

Powell was one of the best snipers in the league this season.

Collins and Powell are both expiring. Collins is 27 compared to Powell at 32. Powell's missed a fair number of games too, last four years 60, 72, 60, 45 games played. Clippers top 5 was Harden, Powell, Leonard, Bogdanovic, Zubac. Could see Collins sliding into that starting line-up just as well.

Collins played 40, 68, 71, 54 so roughly about the same amount of missed games last 4 years, but Collins is 5 years younger. Shot 40% from 3 this season. Powell is a really great shooter though. Collins will add more rebounds and big man defense.

Clippers were pretty small before, Powell 6'4, Harden 6'5, Leonard 6'7, Bogdanovic 6'5, Zubac 7'. Maybe they wanted to get bigger.

Derrick Jones Jr. started most of the games, Bogdanovic came off the bench.. also they played very similar minutes! There were some period of time when even Kris Dunn was starter! Bogdanovic wasnt really pleased with season under Lue.

I'll play your game. :) Of course you know the King of stacking the deck is never coming here for his last year or two, no two All Stars here already or pieces to quickly grab them. And you know the Lakers will want more than we're willing to give for a year or two of Lebron.

Bulls send out: Vucevic ($21.4 mill), White ($12.9 mill), Williams ($18 mill), 2026 Portland pick
Lakers send: Lebron James ($52.6 mill)

Lakers starters: White, Reaves, Williams, Doncic, Ayton.
Bench: Gabe Vincent, Bronny James,Dalton Knecht, Hachimura, Vanderbilt, Laravia, Hayes

Bulls starters: Giddey, Okoro, Matas, Lebron, Collins
Bench: Jones, Ayo, Huerter, Essengue, Phillips, Smith

Lakers become a much younger team and Coby and Pat could be long term pieces, plus a first round pick for a 40 year old.
If all our guys (Giddey and Matas especially) play well and improve, we could be top 3 in the East. I like that bench depth now.

We could add two free agents as well.

Wouldn't do it for a season of Lebron, but I could see it. Bronny might have to come too, lol. Of course, Lebron leads this team to the Finals, huge feather in his ongoing battle with Jordan for GOAT supremacy.

Reportedly the Clippers had interest in Collins before. Has to be tough in the West going against a lot of big teams. From what I've read, Kawhi was basically playing PF and they want him back at SF. Looks like Beal might be headed to the Clippers.

I remember that... I actually didnt hate the idea back then and I really don't hate it now.

Adds some toughness and defence. I believe I read that Stewart is holding his opponents to 5% worse field goal % in the paint.

And like I said I think we would have been happy with the reaction to the Grayson Allen incident had we had Stewart on the team.

Utah is just doing stuff to do it.

Could open up a bunch of Cao space for them and they could have interest in Giddey..

Jazz just leaned into the tank early, opened up a starting spot for Ace Bailey, and added a second. Collins likely helps them win more games, which I don't think they want to do.

Stewart went after Lebron after I believe he elbowed him. He doesn't back down from anybody.

Wizards probably wouldn't do it, but...

Wizards receive:
Nikola Vucevic
Dalen Terry

Bulls receive:
Richaun Holmes
Corey Kispert

The Wiz continue to get expiring Vets who can actually help their team (they already have McCollum, Middleton and Smart). Vuc could play next to Sarr (who fancies himself more of a PF anyway).

Bulls get a backup big who's still an expiring (just not as big) and a young shooter on a decent contract.
Here to argue about nonsensical things and suck away your joy. :kissmybutt:

Think I'd prefer to just buy out Vuc

WIZ might do it, the Bulls shouldn't. It's not always about value. If the Bulls want to be rid of Vucevic they don't need to exchange him for different problems. Buying him out makes more sense

Holmes is fine as the 3rd C. Kispert has two more years which might not be that bad but when does he play? Giddey (hopefully), Jones White, Ayo, Huerter, and still Carter plus with Okoro here now fewer SF minutes for Huerter, Ayo or Kispert.

Return to Chicago Bulls
