Everyone is falling in love with his tools, but his lack of production in college has a lot to do with his 21mpg. Why is he playing 21 mpg if he's an absolute standout? Nike's roster is heavy. On top of Kobe, Bron, and KD, Kyrie & PG have gotten sigs recently and Giannis has one on deck.

Probably more money being offered from Adidas/Puma and a quicker path to a potential sig line would be my guess.

definitely money. Puma is just getting back into the basketball game. They are probably offering the rooks more than the rest of the labels but don't have to break the bank to sign the major stars
