I agree, but it's still a package led by a #1 pick in a draft with young assets. Regardless of the draft, a #1 pick still holds a good bit of value.

Shots per game from 16 ft. and out in the last four years:
2009-10 - 5.5
2010-11 - 4.8
2011-12 - 5.7
2012-13 - 7.2
2010-2011 was his best year. McMillan was trying to get him in the post more. McMillan was still around in 2011-2012, and his offense didn't change to accommodate LMA on the outside more. Why would he do that? LMA was getting to the line more than he had, and was doing very well inside. To put it all on Stotts's offense doesn't tell the whole story, IMO.
He had a great 2011-12 too so I'm not sure I see your point.

Hold on. I was thinking about this and I know the chances are slim to none, but let's give in and trade Noah to Portland for Aldridge.
So we have a PG Rose / SG Butler, / PF Aldridge / C - / SF Deng / and another PF Boozer.
The next step is amnesty Boozer or trade for something decent off the bench.
And then sign Howard. Yes, I said it. Maybe this time he'll consider his "Adidas brother" and play with a team that would "suit his skill set".
2014 plan becomes the 2013 plan. Aldridge loves it because he's not playing Center

Lakers or Clippers? Does either team really have anything to offer?

Sports Whispers @SportsWhispers #NBA: #Blazers will only trade L.Aldridge if it includes: Al Horford, Anthony Davis, Brook Lopez, or Blake Griffin (The Oregonian)
This is not a moment, it's a movement

We don't have enough cap space to sign Dwight even if we amnesty Boozer.

Um I like Noah and all, but if we have to give him up for Aldridge, we better do that ASAP!
Aldridge is a WAY better scorer and is only barely behind Noah in rebounds and blocks.
If we get him and can draft Gorgui Dieng the team will be so much better with just those 2 moves.

In other words he will not be traded.

Coming off the bench for Blake Griffin. Perfect.

Haha that would be one of the only scenarios where I would be on board with us trading Noah.

Probably the Lakers because of their (probable) inability to re-sign Dwight.
The Clippers already have Blake.

I can only see us prying Horford away or Lopez... Lopez being the even slimmer chance. However it works though, I see Noah having to be included.
