Did he open the car door for him? Did Melo get a goodbye hug? Does LaLa know about this?

Absolutely not. There's zero time pressure or cap pressure on Love. We can make a move for him no matter what our cap status is or what time it is in the season. Love can wait, and he probably will because Flip think he can convince him to stay.

Hope for a trade of some sort. We'd be really lacking in wing scoring and big man backup.

If she turns us down, then Nick Young.

Pretty bad imo. They are a run and gun squad. See how that worked in LA when they got Dantoni. Doesnt fit Paus game. More of a set up offense type of player. SA is a good fit. Knicks suck. We would be nice as well.

Dantoni isn't the coach.

You can't be run and gun all the time.

Scotty Brooks can adapt to Gasol's game.

He'd help a lot in their half court game.

@Mike_Bresnahan: Carmelo meeting over. Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak walking out with him and his agent. 2.5 hours total.

one has a ring as coach, and he is not on that function at Knicks, and other has rings as player and he is the Knicks coach, this is just so stupid

Yeah!!! This ring stuff has gone crazy. Pretty soon, Sam Smith and Brian Windhorst will be recruiting because they covered championship winning teams and know what it takes to win.

Well my plan is :

A. Love
B. Dragic / Mirotic
C. Ariza/Mirotic

I'd love Dragic/ Mirotic. Too bad Dragic isn't available. Ariza/Mirotic would still give us a very deep and well rounded basketball team.

You know, what would be interesting? If we signed Gasol and then traded Taj, Mirotic, and fillers for Love.

Hasn't changed - add Rose, Mirotic, Dougie, and a wing 3&D guy to a 48 win team.

Hope someone else becomes available.
