It looks like a weak year to me, but Haliburton checks a lot of boxes.

Gar? Is that you?

Jayden McDaniels is looking really good in Washington. He could be there when we pick. There are comparisons
to Durant. I wouldn't go that far but he should be a good pick.

I think that Lavaris Javaris and Snookums McGee look promising.

Edwards, Avdija, Haliburton (hate his shot mechanics and slow release) and maybe Josh Green.

Those are literally the only players I really like in this draft.

Edwards is obviously a good athlete with some good scoring instincts.

I like Avdija, good size and good feel.

Haliburton has tremendous size for the position and honestly the only issue I have is his shot.

Josh Green is ok, probably undersized but in some of the brief spurts I've watched him I think his athleticism can translate.

Wiseman, Edwards or bust. I haven't been so unintrigued by a draft in a long time. Bad timing for this hopeless team.

Nico Mannion would really give this team a whole lot of what it needs

I would tank min top 5 for wiseman. This guy can be a superstar but he might fall out of top 3 due to uncertainty.
Lamelo will be a future superstar Bull. Book it. Lavar for president!

My rankings changed.

I wouldn't take James Wiseman if I had a top 3 pick. The kid, and his family, should have just left to the NBL like LaMelo Ball, instead of dealing with this NCAA BS. The kid only played 3 NCAA games. As of this point, he dismissed a year of development, which is important at his age. He has to compete somewhere.

4 - James Wiseman

3 - Cole Anthony

2 - Anthony Edwards

1 - LaMelo Ball (even though he's out for 3 more weeks due to injury)

The Zion tank sweepstakes of 2018 wasn't worth it.
His chances of being a superstar player are lowered...by a lot. I'm not betting on him being a superstar. We shouldn't be tanking for anyone in any draft as witnessed by Zion and DeAndre Ayton. Just try to keep winning. Whatever happens, happens.

Cole Anthony's game doesn't wow me. I've seen plenty of undersized scoring guards. The best I saw are Allen Iverson and Damian Lillard. Even in college, they were super. I don't see this with Cole Anthony. I wouldn't take him number one. To take Cole Anthony number one is me saying that this kid is gonna be just as great as Allen Iverson; better than Damian Lillard.

No way. I'm not crazy to do that.

I see star potential in Wiseman, and it won't hurt to get bigger and more athletic in our front court. I don't see star potential potential in Cole Anthony and I believe he's also out 4-6 weeks after having surgery on his knee. Could possibly be out for the year as well.

Between not loving the prospects in this class and having no faith this coaching staff can develop players, I'm still in the "trade the pick" group. This organization does not need another young fella to try to develop. Too many of those players on the roster. Either trade '20 first for a '21 first or trade the pick for a player who can actually help the Bulls in the short and/or long term.

This draft is certainly weak compared to 2021, which is going to be awesome.

Cunningham, Mobley, Green, Garuba, Barnes, maybe Kuminga.

Would be a great season to have a top 5 pick.

Trading the pick for a superstar is fine. But you gotta tank properly to generate that kind of value.
Just look at GS. Even after KD gone, they still have 4 all-stars and will end up with number 1 pick.
Its almost unfair such a good team is guaranteed to have a higher pick than the Bulls which is one of the worst teams.
They can draft number 1 for a guaranteed superstar or package it with DAR for a current superstar in prime.

N'Faley Dante has finally been cleared to play for the Oregon Ducks. It's going to be fun watching his progression for the rest of the college basketball season.

They're far from guaranteed the 1st pick with the new lottery odds, but I admire the commitment to bottoming out this season. The year they opened their brand new arena in SF, no less. They're not playing around.

I understand all that, so I was not suggesting giving the pick away. Just not interested in adding another project to a team full of projects.
