The Detroit Pistons have $8 million in cap Space next season according to sports trac, no way out without a trade. Is Jeremy Grant putting butts in the seats right eyes to the t.v.? Why do you think they traded Derrick Rose they needed cap space.if you were the Pistons GM how do you put it intriguing intriguing team on the floor without it? Why do you think they signed the ball brother for just a couple days lol their ratings are in the dumps lol The only two assets they really have or their unprotected first and Jeremy Grant. Give me one and you can get freedom to go get some real assets along with three lottery picks who are good players. If you trying to say our young players aren’t good I guess we can end the conversation we are a .500 team with everyone healthy we just don’t have a championship ceiling maybe the Pistons wouldn’t like to trade. maybe we would have to toss in a future first but is far from lopsided.

The best ability is availability he doesn’t have that. Plus we each additional injury the probability of him coming back the same are getting slimmer.

The tweets are nonsense. He didn't compare to other centers averaging an arbitrary 15/10/3 per36, he compared to folks putting up that per game. (arbitrary because the assist number cuts out guys like Gobert, Capella, Kanter.. though looking at his list it sure looks like he's rounding up to not make it look silly - Valenciunas is only putting up 1.9 assists per game - 27mpg )...

But if you wanted to keep the arbitrary numbers, but actually per36, you'd include:
Frank Kaminsky, Julius Randle, Sabonis, Boogie Cousins, Gorgui Dieng (9.7 rb), Serge Ibaka (9.9 rb, 2.5 as), Marquese Chriss,

But what if you only need about 12 points per 36... add Jarred Vanderbilt, Mason Plumlee, Reggie Perry, Cody Zeller, Willie Hernangomez, and if you can dip down to 10 points Harry Giles and Steve Adams!... also getting more rebounds.

What if you only need about 9 rebounds, but want to stick to 15 points and 3 assists.... well, now Anthony Davis qualifies (I mean, WCJ is so much better, right?) and Al Horford, too, along with Bjelica and Kevin Love - while Mo Wagner is just a smidge away --- and Alex Len does if you go down to 8 rebounds (along with Siakam - another guy WCJ is just a cut above...) .

What if you want 15/10 but only need 2 assists per36 (still rounding).... add Ivan Zubac, deAndre Ayton, Jarrett Allen, Richuan Holmes, Christian Wood (and his ~25.5/~12 per 36), Bobby Portis (18.4/12.4/1.9a per36), Dwight Howard...

And if you want at least 1 block per 36 from your center, not rounding... well, then, Wendell doesn't make the cut.

Lies, damned lies, and statistics.

The problem with our tradeable young guys is that when healthy they are pretty good difference makers, but they are rarely healthy which significantly hurts their trade value. WCJ is an extremely solid starter but you aren't going to get much for him given his injury history.

The best you can hope for is other young players who have had similar issues early in their careers. Guys like Bagley, Ball, Bamba are the best you can get for WCJ & Lauri trades. If we want to upgrade those players then we'll have to add significant assets which the front office would likely be hesitant to pull the trigger on.

...I searched for other centers this year averaging 15/10/3

How replaceable is Wendell Carter? Very, because all his production comes from Billy's system. What happened when Thad Young replaced Carter?

Per 36 minutes once Wendell stopped playing: 15.8 ppg 8.2 rpg 7.6 apg 2.4 spg 0.9 bpg +5.0 +/- 60.5% FG

I want Wendell back because we're so short handed we're basically fielding Lavine, Thad, and a bunch of guys happy to be on an NBA roster so we need as many "real" NBA players as we can get. But another NBA core rotation player could replace Wendell.

Warriors fan here and I come in peace. What would it take to get Lavine from you guys? I think Wiseman is off the table fwiw. I’m sure everyone will be requesting the Minny pick (which I personally would give up). If so, what would be the salary fillers ?

What would it take to get Curry from you guy as? I think LaVine is off the table fwiw.

Sorry you can’t request a trade for our best player without giving up any value. It would cost Wiseman + 2021 1st (MIN) + more

That’s steep. It seems Lavine’s value varies greatly even among Bulls fans. I have read from some Bulls fans on this site that the pick would be enough. He’s one of the most polarizing players discussed on Realgm. Can’t blame you for asking such a high price. He’s an Allstar level player. Life is funny, some Warriors fans don’t want him whatever the price  Too funny

There are like 2 Bulls fans that hate LaVine and post horrible deals for him all the time on the trade board. I think because of that, fans from other teams jump in thinking his value is super low and post even more horrible trade offers. Smh

I read somewhere that the Knicks are interested in Markkanen. He'd be a good fit to balance out the poor offense of Robinson.

Bulls get Noel and Payton
Knicks get Markkanen and Kornet

That MIN first is top 3 protected and Minnesota is currently tied with the worst record in the NBA. That's too risky of a deal to make without knowing where the pick will land. No reason to take that risk.

I know Markannen probably doesn't have much trade value due to injuries and contract extension, but what's in that deal for us? Payton is horrific and is someone that is a net negative on games, and Noel is a dime a dozen MLE type of big. We already have a similar type in Gafford.
