Why so pessimistic? Phoenix and Orlando are possibility. Phoenix with Booker and Payton. Orlando getting Gordon back. If we continue on the run we’ve been, anything is possible.

Honestly, I think we'll stay above water, in regards to tanking. I kind of figure some of these teams are going to get ridiculously blatant. I think our 3 is a better core than what most of these teams have, so while we're invested in tanking, I think other teams will wind up tanking harder.

Plus, our schedule is easier than every team ahead of us.

I'm definitely being pessimistic and hope I'm wrong.

Sign me up for trading both of our picks if we're past 7. If the BPA looks like a role player, see if someone else will buy-in the the magic that draft picks represent (but usually aren't). Bridges, Knox, etc don't look like future all stars to me.

Go get me Oubre, RHJ or J. Brown with those picks instead.

RHJ isn't worth it. Solid player, but The Bulls don't need a 6'7" power forward who can't shoot threes.

I like Brown and Oubre but I'm not sure either team would trade them. Out of the two I bet Washington would be more willing to do so than Boston.

Buyer Beware and tread carefully!
Reviewing this, Saric was the steal.

8-through-18 of the 2014 NBA draft:
Nik Stauskas, Noah Vonleh, Elfrid Payton, Doug McDermott, Dario Saric, Zach LaVine, T.J. Warren, Adreian Payne, Jusuf Nurkic, James Young, Tyler Ennis.

There's a very good chance that if we play our cards right, our first pick can become an all-star and the 2nd pick can be a good starter for our core going forward. Very exciting.

It's too early to debate who "the steal" was in that draft. There's significant time for several of those guys to improve over the next 3/4 years before we can definitively state that so-&-so was the steal.

As of right now, LaVine was the steal. Saric is not a very good player. Do you watch him play often?

I'd have to disagree about Saric not being a very good player. The stats show otherwise. And yeah, watched him...
Whatever, we agree to disagree, I'd take Saric over a lot of guys.

Mikal Bridges has a strong game against DePaul. Over the course of the season he's had a few games where he just wasn't in synch, and tried to force some action. But lately he has been more consistent on the offensive end. He's always going to give you solid if not elite defense. Look at our core. Markkanen is a likely 20/10 borderline all star within a few years. Lavine is an elite scorer. Dunn likes to put the ball up too. What doe we need from our "3"? To play solid defense and be the 4th option scorer. Mikal fits that role perfectly. He'll never be an elite scorer, but we don't need that. There only one basketball on the floor at a time. And a team full of stars is a team full of egos and it brings salary cap issues into the mix. Yes, you need a few all star caliber players. I think we have that in Lauri and Lavine.
With Dunn at the point, Mikal at the 3, and a rim protector....plus our developing bench. I think we make the playoffs next year, and a year later match up in the East with anybody. And if we look to be a team on the rise I think we can lure Anthony Davis to come home and put us over the top when he's free agency eligible.

Love Mikal Bridges, think he would fit perfectly here as a great 3 and D role player. Good in transition, great on 3s, gets lots of steals and blocks. We should do everything possible to get Jaren Jackson/ Bamba AND Mikal Bridges. This team would be set for the next decade and lots of stars would love to come here

Ive heard his 3point shot isnt going in that good lately. 32% on threes? Thats a hard sell for a supposed top notch perimeter prospect

He's still only 18, though that will change in six days. One of the things that makes him such an elite prospect is his performance at such a young age. The three point shot can more than likely be fixed. He was one of the top players in the Euro Tournament last fall at the age of 18; that's impressive. The question is does he fit with Markkanen, Lavine, and Dunn? Should the Bulls go for best player available or the best player who fits with the current top three?

He's a much better prospect than Gordon Haywood.

If you want real information on Doncic ask us, European, WE DO watch and know him. Do not cluelessly watch stats especially with false statements. Who has ever said that Doncic is a top notch perimeter prospect ? Kid is white and european, but guys, it doesn't mean it's an automatic "only shooter" type of player.

Doncic is known for his ball handling, basketball IQ, court vision, and obviously maturity...

I'll also give you another information that you may use, Doncic is shooting a ton (and I mean it, roughly i'd say around 50% of his 3) off dribble when shooting the 3. He's far from being perfect especially on that point, but considering his stroke, FT%, 2P% and this information, you may reconsider your statement.

It's nice from an evaluation sense to see Porter out on the court, though you'd have to take his play with a grain of salt. For him, I don't think he has much to gain from a stock standpoint but mentally it'll definitely be helpful for him to hit the court, and get some games in with his brother as well.

I don't think it'll effect his stock much either way, unless he comes out absolutely killing it.

Question: which position should the Bulls look to bolster Center or the Small Forward position?

Both positions have great prospects.

Small Forward: 1)Michael Porter, 2)Kevin Knox, 3)Both Bridge's 4) Luca Donici (my #1 overall choice)

Center: 1)Deandre Ayton, 2) J. Jackson Jr, 3)Marvin Bagley

And strong prospects at both positions with the Pelicans pick.
