Possibly not having to take on a large contract that we don't want (aka Biendris in the rumored deal). Just wondering what extra the Bulls would have to give up.

The Bulls and Jazz have a very good relationship. The Bulls helped the Jazz out big time by offering to take Boozer as a sign and trade rather than just signing him outright.

This gave the Jazz a $14 million trade exception which they used to acquire Al Jefferson.

The Jazz owe the Bulls big time.

Maybe Pax is calling in his favor.

Maybe 29 goes to Utah with Beans. No. 7 and Wright to Bulls, Deng to Warriors.

I would hate to trade Deng and the 29th "only" for the #7, or even for the #7 and Wright, but if we're really all that strapped for capspace (and we seem to be) then I could get behind it.
