I'm going to miss Nate. Really wish we would bring him back, but obviously our FO wants to go in a different direct. Although, i'm not going to miss his 0-12 games.... Regardless, they'll be games when we'll be saying, " really wish we had another scoring option" & Robinson will be on Team X getting 15 ppg off the bench.

Even if Nate does not get a better than minimum offer does not mean he would choose us again for that price if he gets even any other minimum offers, esp multi-year.

While we can see scenarios for minutes and playing time for Nate even with Kirk here, Nate may see a role elsewhere as bigger and better.

So unless he has absolutely no other suitors beside us, which already happened once seems like so not out of the question, he remains a long shot.

Please Knicks...believe Matt Barnes to be a bigger need! And resign JR Smith!

I'd offer Nate a two year deal at the vet minimum, so he could look forward to Hinrich expiring next year and an increased role that did not depend on someone getting injured. Love to have him back.

If Nate Robinson is going out of his way to tell a team that he's interested in him, it probably means that he doesn't have much or any other options. Hopefully the Bulls haven't told him straight up that they aren't bringing him back under any condition.

I don't get why the FO wouldn't bring Nate back at the vet minimum, even if it is a multi-year deal. Unless they are really that high on Teauge?

Don't see why you *wouldn't* want Nate at the vet minimum. How many games (and playoff games at that) does the guy have to win for your team before you say 'hey, I think he's worth the absolute lowest amount of money we can sign him to'.

Is he a defensive liability? Yes. Does he sometimes take shots that you might not like? Absolutely. But he also proved last season that when we need points, he was there. And if there is a serious problem this team has, it is needing points. You put this guy in that second unit with Hinrich, let Hinrich move the ball around and let Nate get open. You'll no longer have the problem where Rose walks off the court and the Bulls stop scoring.

Have the knicks not used there mmle yet? are they connected to any strong rumors of them using it on someone else?

IF nate doesn't get his do and somes with someone for the vet min he should def come back here for 120% of what he made last season

I think we're keeping quiet about Nate for a reason. They want him back, and perhaps they don't want to tip off other teams so they increase their bid.

Nate's agent Aaron Goodwin said Nate would be interested in returning to the Bulls with a reduced role, which is an excellent sign, although knowing Kirk's brittleness, Teague's (and Snell's) greeness, there will absolutely be minutes for him.

And, Thibs wants Nate back. He commented on Nate’s ability to play well at the two with Kirk, and they're essentially both combo guards.

We can give Nate a 20% raise for $1,519,172 next season.

Of all our bench guys over the last 3 years, he's the one player I wish they'd resign.

I thought Rerisen's point was that if Nate is only getting vet min offers, he might still choose vet min with another team over vet min with Bulls...not that the Bulls wouldn't attempt to sign him at the vet min.

Personally, if he's only getting vet min offers I am optimistic he would want to be back with the Bulls. We can actually offer him a bit more than the vet min (with the 20% raise, correct?). He loves Chicago, he loves the guys on this team. He would get less minutes than he would in many other places...but he'd be on a winning team with Championship ambitions and with the frailty of the guy he's competing with (Kirk), he'll likely have stretches with much more regular playing time.

the vet min with a 20% increase...two year deal with a player option on the second year (is that possible when only signing a vet min?). That way, if he feels he's worth more he can opt out, and it could play out that the Bulls (with potentially some actual cap space however limited) might be able to offer him a more deserving contract (if he plays exceptional again that is).

Damn, man. Figured it was inevitable, but I was still holding out hope. Nate, in one season, became one of my favorite Bulls ever.

I don't understand Nate and his twitter / instagram talk.

What's he saying here?

I still hold out hope. I believe everything revolves around Howard in a way. If Howard selects Dallas, I can see them making a sign and trade with Mayo. Making a spot for Nate.

To far fetched?
