The Bulls are kinda living with the decisions that they’ve made for better or worse. The two players that everyone feels we should move are both having great seasons. So it’s somewhat understandable that they don’t feel like they should be trading them for a bag of Takis just because the media and fan machine says they should. I’ve actually found my respect level going up for AK.

How do we know that hasn’t already happened? Again, BJ can’t accept anything nor can the Bears announce anything until Detroit’s season is officially over.

Brady 1000 times before this outcome. Monken is Eberflus. Just another long time AC trying to be over-hired

Not sure why you think that. He has been good pretty much everywhere he has been including being a HC, going from 1-11 to 9-5 in 3 seasons at Southern Miss.

It would be a typical Bears outcome. The assistant no other teams have hired yet in his late 50s.

The assistant with 4 of 6 years as an NFL OC in the top 10 including getting Tampa from 18th to 3rd. He lead offenses that have won National Titles and a possible Superbowl. If he was 48 and not 58 he would probably be candidate #1 for open jobs.

Meanwhile, not seriously on the radar of the teams going after the top head coach candidates. So yeah, probably the Bears coach.

Are you simply an eternal pessimist that has been scorned by decisions past. Or are you actively rooting for the Bears to screw this up?

I asked a few days ago what a successful off season would look like to everyone. It wasn’t at all surprising that nobody responded. So I will ask the question to you directly. What would Poles need to do in order for you to consider this off season successful? Or better yet, what would you consider to be the right HC hire for the Bears?

I would take that to be a good sign if BJ is the target. But let’s start wrapping this stuff up. Hopefully, the Bears aren’t trying to follow rules earnestly while other teams are being more aggressive and fraudulent. I need more aggression and fraud. Offer Ben the job encrypted if that’s what he needs to hear before the 20th

odunze would almost certainly be the 6th receiver taken in a re-draft. probably a 2nd rounder

That's nonsense. Let's see how it looks two years from now.

Not a huge shock. Odunze wasn't good this year in a year where many things weren't. He often did a bad job blocking and ran a lot of bad routes. The All22 on him showed a ton of mistakes. Had this team been closer to expectations, many folks would be asking whether they should keep Keenan and if Odunze was a whiff.

Instead, we focus on Caleb (with good reason) and the lack of OL as well as the lack of leadership in the locker room.

Hope he can be closer to where he was drafted, but the reality is not all highly routed receivers make it. See Charles Rogers, Mike Williams, etc.

He, Glenn and Weaver could be used for Rooney rule I reckon. Who knows with the college contracts. Harbaugh was a perpetual NFL candidate. That would be an exiting deal, but the Bears don’t appear to have the focus and juice to get that done. Good questions

This is simply not true. They interviewed Aaron Glenn yesterday. Weaver was also interviewed. You all need to be careful just posting twitter, even if it has a blue check mark. Lots of misinformation being spread.

Rooney rule requires in person interviews. That’s why you saw the type of characters the Patriots used

Virtual interviews are not good enough
