Ford was on the afternoon saloon today and he said the Gm's he talked to have interest as to where LBJ goes, so I'm assuming he means teams with space to go after Lebron

He also said he's starting to feel strongly that we land Lebron

I'm trying to keep my emotions in check but I will say one good thing I see is how Cleveland lost. Does James go to NY where even if they land a 2nd player still has some other pieces to add which will be 1-2 after he signs.

With the Bulls we sign Lebron and that's really it. Yes it would be nice to maybe swap Deng for a pure SG or a PF but if all we did was drafted our 2010 pick, signed LBJ and Asik, we'd be set

James-Rose-Noah-Deng-Gibson-Kirk-Asik-Johnson-Draft pick IMO is enough to compete for a title. We just have to wait and see but we're in a good situation

I'd really be embarrased if Chicago made a visor like that... Lol

Pretty much by definition the 1% chance we get Lebron is higher.

They weren't trading Garnett here. Lebron is a free agent, the Bulls have cap space.

Lebron to Chicago is possible. Why that gets people upbeat, who knows?

I personally see it as a rumor no different than all the other Bulls rumors throughout the years. Even if the situation was different. Just because one ESPN analyst decided to bring it up (which caused a chain-reaction) doesn't make it any more possible.

Bulls fans must love Brosuarred.

It's not a rumor, that's just it.

Even ESPN has figured out that Lebron in Chicago, for what he says he wants, is the best or one of the best fits.

I think I know what the thing is here, I think you have it backwards. Maybe you think people are excited about Lebron maybe coming to Chicago because ESPN said it - I think ESPN said it because it's a good fit and given the past week we have at least doubled our chances from 1% to 2% to get Lebron. Best thing I have to talk about - I guess I could make a poll.

This is why we traded the great John Salmons, to have a shot. I will say, land him or not, the past week basically just about everything has fallen into place for the teams that want him.

I agree on the Knicks if they can land another player - would require some patience but with NY they have proven they would spend. NJ is *expected* to spend. The Bulls have proven they would spend with the greatest player in the league as well.

Here is an interesting sign and trade idea from the Cavs board. It would allow us to get rid of Hinrich and Deng to sign another max free agent. It makes sense because New Orleans and Portland both want to make trades this off season and Cleveland would need to rebuild if Lebron leaves. Anyways here it is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I truly believe that LBJ is gone. I believe this Cavs team can be remade pretty quickly. What do you guys think of this.

Trade #1:
Chicago Gets:
LeBron James (sign & trade)
Daniel Gibson (LBJ friend)

Hornets Get:
Luol Deng
Anthony Parker

Cavs Get:
Darren Collsion
Peja Stojakovic (expiring)
Kirk Hinrich
Bulls 1st round pick (#15)

Trade #2:
Blazers Get:
Maurice Williams
Kirk Hinrich

Cavs Get:
Rudy Fernandez
Nicolas Batum

Sign Amir Johnson
Draft Hassan Whiteside

Cavs Lineup:
PG Darren Collison/Delonte West
SG Rudy Fernandez/Nicolas Batum
SF Antawn Jamison/Jamario Moon
PF JJ Hickson/Amir Johnson/Leon Powe
C Andy Varejao/Hasan Whiteside

My older brother who works downtown at William Blaire is friends with someone in the building whom is a big time real estate agent in the city. This friend SUPPOSEDLY heard that LeBron was inquiring about some real estate IN CHICAGO. Not a source, just a rumor obviously; but man the LeBron talk has been really taking over the town.

The guy may be just playing a joke on him, but news is news...it is the offseason after all

Yeah but LeBron said it himself, he does love Chicago and comes here a lot in the summer. He could just love Chicago enough to buy a place here even if he doesn't play here. But interesting stuff nonetheless.

Every time I start to talk myself down from LeBron talk, I hear more and more people with supposed sources saying this is looking good for the Bulls.

I don't know why the hell this popped into my head, but if the Bulls somehow did get LeBron, who gets announced last in the intros LeBron or Rose? I'd want Rose to keep the nod. As psyched as I'd be to get LeBron, I'd always love our home grown Rose more.

He's rich enough to just go ahead and buy a place in every league city.

Same, I love "FROM CHICAGO" to top it off. Even though he's an egomaniac, I could see Lebron not caring about a detail like that and be announced first.

Bron is getting announced last and I am sure Rose has no problem with that

if bloomberg is making a pitch for Lebron to come to New York, maybe President Obama will make a pitch for Lebron to come to Chicago

Someone, who was speaking in jest, earlier in the day made a good point. Ohio is a swing state. As stupid as it sounds, does Obama want to alienate voters in Cleveland?
