I don't know what to make of this, but putting it together:

Deng to GSW
#7 & Wright to CHI
# 29 & Beans to UT (via TPE)

Utah's most likely to say no. I'd like the Bulls to get more, but this might be what they're looking for.

please lord tell me we're not keeping Biedrins if we were to get him. he makes 8 mil too much for what he does. if we got #7 my guess is Ross,Lamb & Rivers would be the targets.
to get Barnes,Beal or MKG we'd have to be in the top 5.

still hope if we deal Deng that the Sac rumor is the one that goes down.

I think we're talking something more the lines of

Deng to GS
Wright, #7 to CHI
Beans, CHA Pick, Cash to UT

Maybe Utah might want another pick as well, who knows. They'll drive a hard bargain for a 5th big man they don't really need. The deal would save the Bulls about $6M instantly.

Rose/ Kidd/ Lucas
Rip/ J. Lamb/ Butler
Wright/ Korver/ Butler
Boozer/ Taj
Noah/ Asik

Comes in at around $68.7 million (if Kidd takes the vet minimum). Could retain one of Watson or Brewer, or else offer someone the MLE, and still be under the luxury tax (I think-- just about about).

I would be one sad monkey, though.

The Jazz have Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap, Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter. They aren't taking on Beans' sickening contract for something as small as the No. 29. They definitely aren't going to swallow that albatross because the Bulls "did them a favor" and took Boozer with a sign and trade.

Just because they have that trade exception doesn't mean they have to use it. Especially when it means taking on a terrible salary for a back-end draft pick.

Several seasons ago, Biedrins was averaging 14 points, 13 rebounds, and 2 blocks per 36 at the age of 22. Biedrins is still only 25.

Currently he's a bad contract, but it's hard to believe that he's simply this bad and can't be salvaged into a good player again.

When you consider the amount of injuries he's had, it's very possible. But yeah he's needed a change of scenery for the longest. Statistically he still produces at a backup center level though.

Jazz need backcourt help. They are deep down low. I think they need to trade one of Jefferson or Milisap and with Jefferson being able to play both spots, I would assume they trade Milisap unless he is loyal to the organization.

Not sure how they could get involved in a deal with us unless they are willing to give the Warriors their pick back.

I'd be furious if we used the Bobcats pick in order to get rid of a contract.

What about .....

Bulls get #7 , # 35 D. Harris
GS gets Deng
Utah gets: #30 & Biedrins or R. Jefferson

Biedrins had problems with his genitals that messed up his life. I believe that he can be salvaged as a player because the physical problem is cured. Only the mental barrier must be overcome.

He's worth taking a chance on.

However, if Bulls want financial relief only, GS is not a good trading partner

If Utah is willing to take Biedrins contract, why should they have to give an asset up?

Utah's not getting anyone with Okur's TPE, and it expires this December, so if they can use that opportunity to take on a bad contract, while gaining future picks, it's something they should look into.

The Bulls though would be effectively dealing Deng and the Charlotte pick for Wright and #7, which isn't exactly a knockout trade..

Now we're giving up a CHA Pick. It should be GS sending a pick to Utah, not us.

This is a tough one. I doubt the Bulls would give up the Charlotte pick in a trade where they're already giving up the top guy and the best thing they get back is "only" #7. #29 doesn't seem like anywhere near enough enticement for the Jazz, though. On the surface, it is hard to justify them taking on Biedrins, unless they are in fact dumping a big elsewhere. Even then, while I agree that at his age and with his past accomplishments, plenty of teams would take a chance on him moving forward, I doubt many are taking a $20 million chance on him. This one is pretty fascinating. I could see this being the kind of deal the Bulls and Warriors are working on, even if I'd personally like to see more return for Deng.

Can't see any deal with adding Utah. They need backcourt help. Deng makes sense but then why would GS do the deal.
