Retain Augustin and hope Snell turns into a rotation player.
What if we also strike out on Mirotic
Then we all become emo

DMcD will be the steal of the century and the GOAT scorer anyway.
McBuckets will give us 17 PPG his rookie season. BOOK IT!

If she turns us down, then Nick Young.

Yep. Between Jimmy Buckets and McBuckets, we should have enough buckets. Right?
Jimmy will stay back on D, and Doug will cherry-pick. Problem solved.
Come to think of it, we should seriously do that sometimes on offense. I'll take our defense 4 on 5 if it gives us a free bucket....
We should of just left Boozer on the offensive end when he was in games. Not like he did anything but give up points on defense

From what I've heard, and this is wild, so I don't blame you if you don't believe me. Melo's camp laid out a plan for him to recruit players from other teams. He wants to establish relationships with those guys in hopes they actually come to NY to play with the Knicks. He knew with his current salary wants, Chicago would have to deal Taj. He wanted him in the meeting so he could show he cared and thought Taj and Joakim were winners, so when their FA is up, NY has a legit shot at them. It's called planting the seed. He also wanted to see what other teams are doing and will report back to Phil on that.

I mean...anything is possible, but Noah is locked up through 2016 and Taj through 2017.
That's an absurd long-term plan. Are the Knicks just going to carry cap space over to every off-season?
Scottie Pippen's response to whom he would pick for his running mate, Michael or LeBron: "That's a dumbass question. I've never done anything with LeBron. I wouldn't take LeBron to the movies."

yeah the ring stuff is kinda stupid....neither won a ring in their current position

- Thinks Carmelo goes back to new york Heard that Jackson and Carmelo have really hit it off fisher and jackson sitting their with their rings could sway Carmelo Would have to have a rough first year but then 2015 cap space is there That said the lakers believe they have a real shot at landing Carmelo and Gasol could be the key If they can get Gasol back thinks Carmelo could come Lot of optimism coming out of lakers front office that last couple days concerning Carmelo Think they got a real shot
one has a ring as coach, and he is not on that function at Knicks, and other has rings as player and he is the Knicks coach, this is just so stupid
Yeah!!! This ring stuff has gone crazy. Pretty soon, Sam Smith and Brian Windhorst will be recruiting because they covered championship winning teams and know what it takes to win.
wonder if that will cause Beat writers to ring chase........

Ok man, I dont want to be insulting because you are a vet poster but damn that sounds insane. He went threw all this to spy?
If its that much of a lock why does Phil need to meet him in LA? He should be sipping margaritas and relaxing until Melo faxes him the signed contract.

GOAT recruiting plan. Get guys to waste their time, get their hopes up, then crush their hopes and beg them to join later. Maybe next time he should just invite them over and hang out.
