Just have a feeling that AKME are in the mix of this KD trade. Whether or not we're getting KD is a different story, but if the list of players who can't be traded to Brooklyn looks like that, maybe we can be a third/fourth team who can help facilitate the trade and get something back.

It seems like a very complicated trade, and they're being a little too quiet. I wasn't expecting more splash signings like DDR or Lonzo, but for sure a couple sign and trades considering they did so many of those last year.

It's purely a theory at this point, but maybe signing Drummond is an insurance in case Vooch goes out in the trade. He did start in all of his Brooklyn games and a quarter of the time he was in Philly behind Embiid, and I'm seeing a lot of similarities between his production and Vooch's (minus the paltry shooting).

I have a strong dislike for Kevin Durant. Yes, he is (still) very good at basketball, but everything else about him is just...

The optimist in me is right there with you actually...

Been thinking of Drummond as insurance for a Vuc trade incoming also.

Zach not signing is the one thing that is still baffling to me, I mean effing Zion is close to signing a 5 year extension with the Pels and all we heard last year is how much he hates it there whereas Zach and the Bulls front office have been nothing but peachy and now all of a sudden with the most money on the table Zach wants to wait...

Surely that affected AKMEs ability to make more moves and signings.... Unless they all knew a thing or 2...

You know it's less of the optimist in me that has me right there and more of the conspiracy theorist...

Does Durant want to come here? I keep seeing he is focusing on Phoenix and Miami.

Dont want this guy. He is a diva and he is the grumpiest guy in the league. Everyone will have to walk on eggshells around him just so he doesnt ask to get traded AGAIN. Takes the fun out of the game.

There is no doubt that Drummond is Vuc insurance, he can play the role for a fraction of the cost (and also not as good but still serviceable)

The Designated Rookie thing is an issue in making deals. KD can actually be traded for whoever, its just the Nets who can't have Simmons and another designated rookie so maybe Simmions has to go if they like the KD offer (any of the guys like Brown or whoever) There will be a lot of moving parts if something gets done and thats also not excluding what could happen on the irving front. All chaos leads to BKN and there should somewhere in there be a trade. Portland still looking to make a move etc... There is all types of options still this summer and before the deadline.

They're F'ing lunatics. While KD was a generational player at one point he is clearly on a downward path & his toxic diva attitude makes his worth less, not more. The Nets want more than the hauls for AD & PG at the time of their trades. But they were both in their mid to late 20's. They be trippin.

Brooklyn is going to trade Durant for the best offer. They know Kyrie is gone to one of the LA teams in 2023, and for goodness sakes they traded a FRP for frickin Royce O Neal.

Demar / Vooch / Coby / 2 FRP for Durant /Harris

Bulls: Zo/Zach/Durant/PWill/Drummond/Ayo/Caruso/MLE/Harris
Nets: Kyrie/Simmons/Demar/ONeal/Vooch/Claxton/Coby

Maybe we can get our stretch 4 rim protector by getting involved in a complicated 3 or 4 team trade and use Coby as a piece going out?

I don't often do this, but looking for opinions if this idea even makes sense.

Durant wants a immediate contender, this would do it. A hit to our future true, but not catastrophic in my opinion.

UN-protected 1sts in '27 and '29 (or similar years), Portland pick, Pat, Coby, Ayo, Terry, and whatever it takes.

Vuc/Durant/Demar/Zach/Ball with Drummond/Caruso/vet mins or whatever can be scrapped up.

I’m sure Zach has to be included in this deal and it is a no brainer as well

Which means in your opinion Durant to the Bulls will not happen as Zach will simply decline the trade.

I wish people would stop including Zach. Zach and KD would want to play together. I understand Brooklyn has a sky high asking price, but that doesn't mean they'll get it. Apparently they wanted Booker and that was already a no.

Lol @ historic haul. The trade request is public, KD isn’t suiting up for them anymore. They have no leverage.
I'm not here to argue.
