I know they have a game today, but I can't believe he pulled his starters last night, when they had the lead down to 9. They really had taken momentum from the Bulls for the first time all game and could have got it down to 5 or so. Then it's anyones game.

I'm pretty sure the Blazers' bench was responsible for cutting the lead to 9. Regardless, McMillan did have some bizarre lineups out there at the end of the game.

it was actually a wise decision to take out the starters at the beginning of the 4th given that they play again tonight. and the bench cut the lead to 9, so why not maintain continuity? then the bulls scored on the next 2 possessions and the game was all but over w/ 3 min left

It's going to take him time to find his game inside our motion offense.

Good point. He doesn't look comfortable yet, not able to play an aggressive game. The thing I harp on with the bench is that it's composed of guys who haven't played together much. And yeah, CJ probably hasn't had to look at a playbook since he's been in the NBA, so this experience is a stark change for him in that regard. He'll look much better when the bench gets fast break opportunities.

D-Rose played a good game as well. Those 4th quarter turnovers by him are not a concern to me because his teammates need to move & come towards him when he's getting trapped. Coach Thibs will clean that stuff up.

No, those turnovers happened because Rose was dribbling sloppily.

He's a great player, but we've got to be honest about his mistakes as well as his amazing plays.

OK, well if we're going to talk about it - why did Rose keep drawing the double team towards the sidelines, effectively making the double teams as effective as a triple team.

In the preseason we had this thing going where the bigs would bring their defenders up to the half-court & Rose would attack on the move. Much more effective. He needs to stay in the center of the court if he's going to take a double on.

I would probably pass out if we ever won a championship in Chicago—just black out, man. I think the city needs it, man. We’ve been waiting for a long time. - Drose

Granted, this is just a wild guess on my part, but I believe this is the post game from the last game played, no game yesterday and no game today.

Again, wild stab in the dark.

Glad you are moving on, take care! Leave the hall light on!
