Bulls gamble Lakers suck in 2021. I know nothing about Kumaz. Deng is the vet leader and eats minutes at SF

Lakers clear a ton of cap space for PG13 and LBJ, and they hope Wade signs cheap to help lure them

It's Kuzma, played at here in UT where I am. hard working 6'9 230 pound forward, kinda of a tweener, started as a center added pretty reliable jumper, and handles may be a fit for modern nba as a athletic forward who can be energy guy but need sto improve defense.

I'd trade Grant for Stanley Johnson. He can be our SF.

Why would Detroit do that though?

We have to work with teams that want to improve their roster and contend.

Boston could be a candidate if they strike out in free agency. They need a defender and rebounder inside (Lopez).

Miami could be a decent trade partner. Lopez or Rondo or both for Bosh and a pick. We can take Winslow if they've given up on him.

Orlando could possibly work. Rondo for Hezonja (if they've given up on him? And either Watson or Augustin. They obviously want to give Payton more opportunities to succeed. He's the same type of player as Rondo and could learn a lot from him.

Philadelphia could move Fultz to fulltime SG with McConnell and Rondo playing PG. McConnell could also learn quite a bit from Rondo. Or they could use Lopez as a 3rd or 4th big. We could take Anderson or Luwawu plus a pick.

Washington needs more cap space to re-sign Porter. Rondo for a pick and Mahinmi, Gortat, Morris or Smith. Then they cut Rondo for the savings.

Dallas needs cap space if they want to re-sign Noel and Farrell. Rondo for a pick and Harris and Barea.

Denver has talent all over the roster but needs an upgrade at PG. Rondo for Mudiay and either Nelson or Miller. They cut Rondo and go after a free agent.

LAC have 4 key players going into free agency. If they want to move Jordan and get extra money for those guys then we can offer Rondo and Lopez for Jordan, Wes Johnson and a pick.

LAL want to be big players in free agency next year but Dang is locked up for $18M/yr for three more seasons. Rondo for Deng and a pick.

Memphis could look to add a G in free agency. Rondo for Daniels, Ennis one of the young guys could clear enough space.

OKC needs shooters. Rondo for Oladipo clears space for that after cutting Rondo. (But Oladipo is trash and has 4 years left so I don't like this.)

Phoenix was looking to add a star. Rondo for Dudley, Bender and a pick should open up space for a top free agent like Griffin.

Portland. We could do a huge deal with them. They could use Rondo and Lopez. When Rondo expires they would have enough to re-sign Nurkic. Connaughton and w of their bigs (Leonard, Ezeli, Davis) and one of their wings (Aminu, Harkless, Evans, Crabbe). Clears up playing time for Zach Collins too.

The Jazz don't have a decent backup PG. Rondo for Diaw and Exum. They could keep or cut Rondo.

For Rondo/ Lopez trades my favorite trade partners are BOS, MIA, PHI, LAC, PHX, and POR.

I think possible trade partners for Wade could be MEM (need a SG) and LAL (need to fill the seats and stay respectable).

Orlando was just as bad as a shooting team as we were last year. I'd be all over a draft pick swap of Markkanen for Isaac and taking back Biyombo's salary.

Wade and Canaan to PHI for Henderson, Anderson and 2018 pick.

Lopez, Rondo and to MIA for Bosh, Winslow and 2019 pick.

Dunn/Grant/Payne
Valentine/Anderson/Lavine
Winslow/Zipser/Henderson
Markkanen/Mirotic/Bosh
Portis/Felicio/Lauvergne

I think the FO will probably bring back all of Mirotic, Felicio and Lauvergne. That's why I put them in there.

If I am reading right Phil is still on fence to trade Zingis and dump Noah's salary. Bulls need to hop on that if there is deal presented. In this coming year.

Us taking Noah's salary will beat Celtics offer. Given our 2018 pick or swap is valuable just as that Nets 2018 pick. I want to take this league by the storm having two elite 7 footers shooters who can play together and their skills match.

We're really going to want guys like Portis and Valentine to have good seasons next year. If Portis is averaging a double double and Valentine is giving you about 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2-3 assists on good shooting then you'll suddenly have pieces you can dangle in trades.

Sure. But I am getting giddy on idea having two 7 foot guys shooting 3's like nothing, but their defensive and offensive skills are compatible to play together. Stop that NBA. It's like Krause in me is born.

I agree. I think Porzingis is the best young player that's potentially available. If you can get him, you have to get him.

Wasn't the asking price for Porzingis for Boston like #3, LA/Kings rights, and more? I don't see how we could afford getting him.

Obviously worth swinging for if we could get him.

Im just worried about Porzingis. It is unprecidented that a player so young and talented is available. I browsed through Phil's book, and he put up with some insane immature behavior from Shaq and Kobe. If he can't handle Porzingis, that is an immature and out of control dude.

That was deal without Noah attached to him. Obviously price is lowered with Noah's salary there. Nobody in damn mind would give away all that AND take Noah. You asking impossible.

Players who Imo can net a first round pick by taking on their contract.

Deng(LAL 2020 first round pick)
B.Knight(The Suns have a future Heat pick in 2021 that I believe is unprotected)
Parsons. (Memphis may be the next team to ship of their best players, so not sure they'll want to give away a future pick. But man, that's a really bad contract)

Of our own players, Lopez is our best shot, maybe Boston would trade the Memphis pick for him?

Why would Philly want a 35 year old Wade?

Fultz/McConnell
______/Bayless
Simmons/Covington
Saric/Pasecniks
Embiid/Okafor

That team is definitely talented enough to make the playoffs. Especially with Chicago and Atlanta basically tanking. A solid scoring veteran gives them a challenge to steal a round. Wade would definitely help them. And they still have multiple picks.

Wade doesn't help them enough and wouldn't be worth giving up a 2018 pick to get him.

They might not have a lottery pick of their own. But they should have a top pick from the Boston trade. They have little to lose. They need to hit the cap floor anyway. And of wade has a decent year that could make Philly a more appealing free agent destination next off-season
