I think that offer would get trumped by another team pretty easily. That's NO giving him away for nothing since Porter can't stay healthy.

So what will Lonzo be signing for this summer?

Why not wait to sign him then Without giving up assets?

BTW this feels more like Lonzo’s camp putting out rumors then Bulls and others actually showing interest.

JJ is the other NO player with trade rumors, I'd imagine he's packaged with Lonzo in that trade for Porter. Honestly seems way too good to be true even if I think Lonzo would ruin Donovan's spacing and offense.

Rumors are that Rich Paul prefers the Bulls as Lonzo's landing spot.

Contracts don't match so.it can't be a straight swap but. Porter Jrs expiring contract would be worthwhile in some way

So the Pels are tanking loud and clear?

Hoping they get a top 5 pick to go with Zion and Ingram?

Lonzo Ball is every bit as talented as his brother and plays better defense. The problem is intangibles and lemelo is just a star. He has the fire his brother just doesn't have

The reason I'm fine with this move, is because I sincerely feel Billy Donovan and Maurice cheeks are going to unlock potential out of ball his other coaches couldn't. Wouldn't hurt if we could get a extra pick out the pelicans for the deal.

$ won't work unless Bledsoe is in included...i.e. Otto/Hutch for Bledsoe/Lonzo.

Posted in trade thread, but I was at Bulls Magic last night and Arturas pulled Hutch from layup line, spoke to him for a minute and then Hutch ran to locker room. My guess is Hutch was traded.

Didn’t play or return to Bench and looked a little dejected after AK gave him a talk.

Very insightful thread on GB...

- Lonzo elite D
- Streaky shooter
- Worthless in the halfcourt when not hitting 3s

Seriously! That’s crazy. That sounds like he was traded.

Because other teams might make offer a contract. By having Lonzo on the team Bulls would always have the last say by matching all the offers other teams throw at him. Also Bulls have lot of expiring contracts, so losing those doesn't mean that much anyway.

and you get time to see Ball up close and get to know him and see if you want to invest in him long term.

Hopefully we can move Hutch and others in a trade for Ball.Makes sense with the new FO's strategy.

Return to Chicago Bulls
