Bulls are going to have a fun transition game. Lonzo to… Lavine, DeRozan, P Will. Ayo looks like Coby in transition but with actual size and finishing ability. Gonna be fun

He looks massive on the court compared to others, I kept thinking that to myself watching this past game.

I think Pat is legit sized height and weight whatever that height and weight is.

You know how in college they say a guy is 6-8 but when they play in the league they always look shorter than the other 6-8 guys? Well that's not Pat.

Physically right now Pat has the body of a 5 year NBA player. He might be on the Giannis diet.

So is Pat playing all summer?

It’s good experience being #1 option, but I worry about injuries when he’s clearly much more talented than just about everyone else. Feel like the plug often gets pulled early for high-end sophs.

He is 19

He can fall twist both ankles and be back playing by next week

This season could be special and Patrick Williams maturity will plug a lot of holes for this roster. I'm not mad at all the playing he getting between the select team and summer league.

Good for Williams on realizing he has to make an effort to be more assertive.

Williams looked off on every iso. He shot much better when others developed the play and he just caught the ball. PF is probably his best look this season. Extremely slow with a live dribble, I think more mental than physical. Looked good when playing off other people.

Ayo has a lot of potential even at his age. The size and speed are great. The only Bull cleanly getting his hip past the defender without a screen.

Baxter is as athletic as advertised, no idea if he has any other skills. Wish we could see more Marko. Even when he's in he just seems to be doing the simple screen then go stand under the basket role which doesn't look like his game at all.

The way Ayo being active with his hands on D, and somewhat generic offensive skill, he's a bit like poor man's Jrue Holiday.

Marko was a man amongst boys when it comes to being in the right position both offensively and defensively from what little we saw of him this game.

He was seeing/recognizing things and reacting accordingly like a 10 year vet. He was always in the right spot to box out, on pick and rolls, and filling the lane on fast breaks. He was quick to get up into a shooters chest but never left his feet or bit on fakes and had the balance to recover if they drove the lane. He recognized and rotated when his teammates got beat off the dribble and drivers had open lane but didn't overcommit and rotate off his guy to soon.

He has obvious flaws (needs to add muscle, not very athletic) and it remains to be seen if he can get to these spots against much stronger and more athletic guys, but I was really impressed with what I saw today.

Marko seems to have that Euro attitude of just being here to play Basketball.

I get the feeling he at the very least won't be intimidated and scared going up against NBA talent which is a good starting point particularly with his skillset.

Ayo is the type of guy that will feast off the 80% speed of SL. Sorta is what it is. Pat can score 30 against fools for similar reasons. I'm not really taking anything away from these games other than maybe how Simonvic looks in his first taste of US ball.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

Marko needs more love for the way he’s played. He’s not a superstar or anything but he is in the right spots, he hits open shots, and he hustles . Honestly i would feel confident putting him in the game at any point or having him in reserve if needed. I have full confidence in him as a rotation guy. He does need to get stronger but otherwise he def has potential to play a role.

Look up like 5 posts, I wrote an absolutely glowing review of his limited floor time.

Marko is a man among boys right now with his international experience. I don't think he has the athletic ability to be anything more than a 9-10th man

I did see that but i was acknowledging the more dismissive comments. If he had more weight and muscle he would be a solid rotation player on a good team. He already has the skill and basketball mind for it. His body just needs to catch up. And he’s young enough to make it work at 21.

So proud of Mr. Patrick Williams for being an absolute Chuck. He forced shots and drives that turned into turnovers.

Then he learned how and when to pick his spots and took over on the last 3 possessions to close out the game.

1. PW is going to get lots of wide open 3s and his shot looks good and slightly quicker.

2. PW getting to the FT line is big. He has the moves and body to do it. He’s money when he gets there.

Marko S is going to be awesome for Chicago. The kid has remarkably poised IQ for someone so young. That was a homerun pickup by Artie K, and I fully expect him to log decent minutes in the C rotation this season. He can contribute. I'm actually very hyped re: his NBA potential, I think he's going to break out eventually. The size + tools are there, and I like his deadpan disposition

2nd game opinions:

Marko has a nice midrange stroke. He has no hops, but runs like a gazelle when he wants to. He needs to get add muscle but looks like he can still be useful in spots this season.

Dotson looks like is a terrible passer. Has he thrown 1 clean pass to Ayo yet? Also, the team defense was at its best when Devon was on the bench. I've seen enough. Don't like him.

Ayo is intense. Nice hands on defense. Masterful at getting over screens. Still looks like a rookie on offense. Lots of potential though.

Patrick was ball hogging in the 1st half which is what he should do in Summer League. I think he should emulate Draymond Green on defense. On offense, I'd like to see a lot more of that sweet pull up midrange jumpshot. I hope we bring in Milsap to back him up this season.
