I don't see Bosh committing before the LBJ visit, so I think we may be walking into that meeting with Carlos Boozer committed. I actually like Boozer. He's a legit 20/10 guy with a nice TS%. The only question is health but besides that a Rose-LBJ-Boozer trio would be pretty damn nice.

I just feel and obviously the Bulls do as well, that if they can walk in on Friday having a high profile free agent committing to the Bulls, that it would be hard to LBJ to say no

Here's how I feel

55% Bulls
20% Heat
20% Cavs
5% Knicks/Nets

The more and more I think about it, the more I think the heat stuff is BS. No matter how many rings he wins there, people will always say he needed to form a superteam to win a title, and he will always be number 2 to Wade in that city. I think LeBron cares too much about his legacy and image to do this.

I just feel like there's too much in favor of the Bulls for him to pass up. We have the players to compliment him and make us a powerhouse immediately. We have the cap space. He grew up a Bulls fan and loves Chicago. We give him the opportunity to follow in his hero's footsteps. We have the big market. We can offer it ALL.

He'll be the man in Chicago, undeniably. In Miami he won't really have that distinction. He'll just be one of "the big 3".

Umm, he'd be forming a superteam if he joined either the Heat or the Bulls. Either way, it ruins his image/legacy based on your line of reasoning.

Frankly, he doesn't care about that. He'd rather have people saying "His legacy is ruined because he teamed up with a superstar" than people saying "One of the best players in the world to ever step on a basketball court never won a championship."

Mondays are always good days for announcements, so I'm guessing that we'll see the 1st wave of "commitments" coming out then.

In the interim, we'll just have to suffer through the chaos in the media.

I know that during these final days of decision, all of these guys are going to be subjected to every know method of persuasion under the sun.

But my gut feeling (based on events) is that if LeBron locks himself in a room and "goes after his dream" he's going to want to challenge the legacy of MJ. We all know that if we set our goals high, then we have a better chance of achieving great things, and I think that's where LeBron's head is right now. The only legacy that Miami offers is Wade, and you can't surpass someone who's riding in the same wagon as you, so I don't think that LeBron wants to play with Wade.

Bosh on the other hand, has to climb out of a bad situation, and going from the snow of Canada to the beaches of Florida may be too much for him to resist. But if he's been offered to hook his wagon to LeBron's (and it appears that he may have been) then we could see them coming to the Bulls as a package.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.

It is true that Rose/Lebron/Noah/Bosh/Deng would be better than Wade/Bosh/Lebron but the difference is that no one on the Bulls has ever won a title before like Wade has.

Also while Rose is great, he is young and even when he becomes a superstar in his prime like Wade people will get the image that Lebron "made" Rose into who he is even though it would not be true. Wade has already proven to be elite.

not really, on the bulls he's the leader and #1 guy, on the heat with wade not so much.

Whether it's fair or not, the perception would be different. If he goes to Chicago, it won't be talked about in that way. There is no Wade here. Rose is not Wade.

Frankly, he doesn't care about that. He'd rather have people saying "His legacy is ruined because he teamed up with a superstar" than people saying "One of the best players in the world to ever step on a basketball court never won a championship."

So you're saying he's the type of person that is scared of failure and is more interested in taking the perceived easier way out?

LeBron wants to be THE man. In Miami, he will not be. He'll be one of the men. In Chicago there is no denying that he will be number 1.

Yeah, I'm pretty much done sorting through all the rumors. It's been crazy now for a while, and I suspect it will be crazy pretty much up until July 8th. But should Lebron sign with the Bulls, it's not like there haven't been a lot of signs pointing our way. I still like our chances. I don't care to debate why anymore, because there's enough information out there to support a case for almost every team. I'm content to just wait and see what happens.
