That is the key and what the Bulls can sell that others haven't. All the teams have had we can bring this guy and that guy. That's all pie in the sky. Being able to go in and say we have Rose, Noah, Deng, Gibson and Boozer in the fold accomplishes what no other team has been able to do.

For the fourth time, because no one is addressing it: are you guys really ok with giving up on Bosh to secure Boozer right now?

The question is are you willing to miss out on Boozer and go into the LBJ meeting have him say no and find out Wade/Bosh commits to Miami, leaving us David Lee as the only free agent?

Here's my feeling. Bosh is good but I don't think Bosh is ahead of Boozer like many others think. I'd rather have Boozer and increase our chances of getting LBJ than waiting on a what if from Bosh. To me I don't see Bosh/LBJ as this major upgrade or worth the sacrifice over Boozer/LBJ

Raptors fan here, not trolling just wanted to share some thoughts I have. There is no doubt we will be losing Bosh. And quite frankly if I were to chose giving him up to you or the Heat I personally would chose the Bulls. I've been reading your threads for the past 2-3 days and my impression is that you are very reasonable and are offering us something in return as opposed to what the Heat (headed by Dr Evil the epitomy of greed Pat the rat) is offering.

Anyways what prompted me to make this entry is the feeling I have now that Wade is playing Bosh like a fool and in doing so he is really taking away a (possibly) good deal with you and delaying you as well from pursing other potential FAs.

Bosh is younger, taller, less injury-prone, more explosive, has averaged slightly higher stats. I mean, there's an advantage.

As long as we keep Rose and Noah, that's all that matters..

If the Bulls have Boozer and Miami gets Wade and Bosh, we should be better, no questions. Getting Boozer now means at worst you have added an all-star level, offensively elite big who also rebounds.

I would not risk Bosh for that, no. Bosh needs someone else to win, Lebron does not need Bosh.

I guess I don't trust Wade and Bosh for various reasons. Bosh is high maintenance and a sign and trade could be demanded and could take a good while.

Now, if we had Lee, you could have Rose/Lee/Lebron/Noah and keep them together for 10 years, you don't need to replace your PF 5 or so years in. But, I'll take Boozer. Quite happily.

Lebron, don't make a bad move like Tiger. Choose the Bulls!

As much as I love Rose....if we have to trade him to land a Lebron/Wade duo I do it.

Andande is characterizing the Wade move as him recognizing the Bulls are the premeire team in the East and the prime destination for any of these FAs. He thinks that what's prompting Wade having so much interest is that he's trying to beat Lebron to the punch (Chicago). I agree with his assesment. As such, it puts a ton of pressure on Lebron to commit to the Bulls right away.

As of right now, I'd say the Bulls are in the poll position.

This must be heartbreaking for Miami, 24 hours ago they were thinking LeBron joining Wade in Miami, and now the possibility of not even having Wade! Incredible.

You know what it really comes down to? How interested in WINNING each gent is. The 2 that are most interested in winning should end up here. I would guess that would be Bron and Wade. Bosh seems to want to get paid.

Definitely agree on this.

Clearing up earlier misinformation, Bulls did NOT meet with Wade/Bosh together. Wade at agent's office. Bosh met Bulls there, then to UC.
