I'm thinking between 20-10 and 22-8.

If we assume that we will be healthy come playoffs, knowing that answer is the more important measure of the team.

Who knows, hard to predict the butterfly effect.

But as it stands right now, neither the Bulls or Knicks are elite. Bot have close records and are clearly playoff teams. One specializes in defense, one in offense. I hate the Knicks too, but it's really not foolish to say they're in the same tier as us. I see the East right now as:

Elite
Heat
Celtics

On the cusp
Bulls
Magic
Knicks
Hawks

I'm not saying the Bulls aren't a better team than the Knicks. I think we are. But that doesn't mean the Knicks aren't in the same level as us.

-They have an MVP candidate.
-A top-10 PG
-One of the most high powered offenses in the league.

Stop underestimating them.

I can't fathom how this game has helped convinced people that the Knicks are a quality team. The bulk of the Bulls bad play was unforced - poor free throw shooting, missed open three pointers, sloppy ball handling, and bad passes - yet with evenhanded officiating the game would have been very close in the final seconds.

Depending how you draw your tiers, I can see that. But we're still higher within the tier, even then.

Whos underestimating them? Saying that they are on our level is saying that they are equal to us. No they are not. We are better!

When you keep saying that both teams are one piece away, that is just wrong. We are a SJax SG away from being a title contender.

If you add a SJax caliber player (not a SG just a equivalent player at any position) to the Knicks they would still be missing something to compete for a title. Now if they get Melo, then yes that would be different, but many teams become title contenders if they add a top 10 caliber player in the NBA.

Whatever makes you sleep better. The Knicks are in the same tier either way. Nobody talks about the Bulls any differently than they do about the Knicks or Hawks for that matter.

This.

And FT's cost us another game. That's at least two now.

Finally, we ran another "layup miss" drill today. We miss more goddamn layups than any team since the NBA was formed.

The SG does not have to be all-star cliber. SJax would be perfect.

The Knicks have beat us twice. Not once, twice. Look, I'm not saying the Knicks are a better team. I'm saying they are on our level, and they clearly are. We have not blown them out, we have not outplayed them convincingly, we haven't done **** against them. We lost, twice.

You seem really down on the Bulls to me.

This team has put up a very impressive record with having Boozer out all those games, having one of the toughest schedules and now missing Noah.

We haven't even had time to gel as a team with all our pieces, nor fully integrate Thibs defense to where everyone knows what to do.

If we took Bogans out of the starting lineup, I think that would be a couple more wins instantly by the end of the year.

Our schedule is pretty soft for a long while, the Bulls are going to get stronger as they go. It might not show greatly in the record till Noah comes back, but the Bulls are a top 4 team in the Conference. Everyone else is below that.

The Bulls are the only team I see with a legit chance to upset Boston/Miami/Orlando. Not saying its likely, but I can't see any other single team having much of a shot even.

Nice hard fouling Amare...the league is boring...

NY vs Chi is good for sports in general...

BTW....stop acting like girls and whining because another teams fans talk trash. MODs MODS please BAN THEM! LOL It's all in good fun man..its just sports...that dude BJ's posts are reading like he's crying behind the monitor. Dude made numerous threats in the game thread..thats ok?

Anyway....Bulls had a pretty bad game...The Knicks are clearly the more athletic team....Pringles system is lethal when he has the right players..

Im praying we meet them in the first round...What a wonderful series it would be..

Landry Fields is nice...today was my first time really seeing him.

Brewer shoulda dunked that ****. Blowing a wide open gimmie...in MSG...on Christmas? Embarrassing.

Hope everyone here contines to have a blessed day.

Happy B-day Jesus

Man shut up, I'm allowed to be pissed off, no one is crying, I just hate the Knicks more than you'll ever understand and I've had no sleep and I'm angry, so I don't feel like being reasonable or mature right now

I'm not down on the Bulls at all. I love our team. We're 18-10 and likely going to win our first Central Division title since 1998.

All I'm pointing out is that the Knicks are on the same level as us. Whatever excuses you want to use to put that into perspective is fine. But at this very moment, how can you say otherwise?

Hooray they beat us twice without our top 3 center and top 5 PF!!! Good for them. Let's keep ignoring those facts.
