Yes,it's been said but still thanks for supplements, and Pax said many teams want to buy him by million dollars after we drafting, bulls turned them down.

seems like they both got solid post move, jump shot, strong, and both white

Hopefully he's more of a clippers Chris Kaman and not the MAvericks/Lakers Chris Kaman. BUT definatley not as creepy looking as Clippers Chris Kaman.

Yeah, the thing that has always stuck out for me when watching Doug McDermott over the years is his amazing footwork with great balance and control coupled with being so quick and decisive with his movements. It was so novel to see, but when doing my own little scouting I do every year for college bball, the one person to rival this type of footwork imo was Cameron Bairstow. It's just so noticeable. I like this pick and this isn't even close to an Erik Murphy situation.

I admittedly knew next to nothing of Cameron Bairstow coming into the draft, but after everything I have read, the tape I've seen, and especially his interview, I am feeling like the Bulls might have actually come away with a guy who is going to contribute relatively quickly and be a great pick considering his draft position. I love the fact that he doesn't seem like much of a "project", and that while he certainly can continue to grow as a player, he looks like he will be able to find a role early in his career. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders.

Beginning to be really happy with the idea of watching McDermott and Bairstow next season. I think the Bulls had a very solid draft. Finding guys that look like they can get on the floor and contribute ASAP was a fantastic direction to go.

I believe Bairstow's a tough player to guard, however he must become a much better passer. He can become much better if he can see plays ahead of time. Coaches should help him with his approach and drill passing situations.

I do think he's still having some higher ceiling to reach despite 24.

First of all,he took the role of premier option in Lobos and did well, seems to be a guy capable of acustomed to new role and learning quickly.

Second, his shooting range lengthened inpressively in senior,it's reasonable to expect he can lengthen more till behind the arc,and if so,how his comparison become?A hardwporking big who has post move, long shot, physically play, and not bad athletes and great strength .

Sounds like the white Taj Gibson with a better shot. We'll see if that is true is rookie year

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

I'm not following college bball at all, but reports and videos I saw makes me really happy. He looks like a Thibs guy and can get some rotation minutes

Sounds like he may need to be Gibson's back up if we get Melo. Hope you're ready kid.

Last year for a second rounder, I didn't have any good feel about Eric Murphy.

I look at Bairstow this year, and after watching him play, im real excited. We could be our second round gem joining the likes of Duhon and Aaron Gray.

As far as I can tell and reading the scouting reports, his primary role was scoring in college.

The issue is that on the Bulls a rookie 2nd rounder is not going to come in to score, not anymore than Tony Snell was, who was the guy ahead of Cameron on offense just 2 years ago.

He's going to have to defend and rebound first primarily to stay on the floor for the Bulls. Time for Thibs specialty to payoff.

well, he is a good rebounder, and the word is that he is VERY physical on D. He certainly seems to have the athleticism to play D. I actually don't think that will be an issue.

And it sounds like he's coming in with an absolute money midrange jumper.

i don't think whether he players or not will depend on his ability to defend. defense is expected on this team but i don't think him being a below average defender would prevent him from playing. physically he's ready and he was one of the more physical players in this draft class, certainly one of the most physical players i saw in college last yr. whether he can keep up with quick bigs and defend in space are the big question marks, but i'm not gonna question his effort level or ability to make the opposition work. for however long he's on the floor, it's not gonna be a cakewalk for whoever is matched up with him because of how rugged he is. also, i'm not sure how the rest of his offensive game will translate but i think thibs could count on his ability to hit mid-range J's from day one. he's an immediate pick n pop threat.

He should be good in the post defensively, but questionable in the scramble PnR like Noah and Taj have to do.

If he can give us short stints like Kurt Thomas did that would be great. But the refs let him get away with a lot of physicality due to being a vet.

Most of his scoring does seem to be within the flow of the game, doesn't really force a lot.
He seems to know his own limitations and has a nice set of moves to go along with an NBA frame.
