Doug put the team on his back and pretty much won it singlehandedly. It seems like every game he starts off slow and then gets better as the game goes on. If he can get off to a hot start he might have an even better game.

If Doug begins hitting 3s, he will get 30 points easy

This is the kind of win that puts fear into LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Good to see the kid get aggressive and take the game over. Hell of a second half for MCD3!

just a summer league game, but with Doug it shows you why he never got going under thibs. He isnt a guy that can get going as soon as he comes off the bench, sometimes it takes him a few shots to get his rhythm. Which could be a problem with all of our scores but nonetheless he never had a chance under THibs. I love Thibs doo.

Love the energy from that game. Doug probably will carry this on to the next.

Bobby went MIA, but was huge on the 2 threes

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

First time he put the team in his back and carried them. The other games he was just a scorer, this was a good step for him

Yeh, he will most likely need around 20 mins a game to show his worth during the season.

Props to Hoiberg for giving Doug the stage. Fred knew he needed a game like this to get some confidence.

The encouraging part for me isn't his scoring. It's the little things he's doing. He had some big time boards tonight on the offensive glass that resulted in points, he was playing tough and he was finishing strong.

Doug isn't a one trick pony. Kid has game and he's not afraid to get his nose dirty. It's not always pretty but who cares. He battled tonight and it was awesome, even if it was just summer league.
