Jazz Get: Niko Mirotic
Bulls Get: NOP 1st & Joe Johnson
Pelicans Get: Derrick Favors

Rolo + Holiday for Ajinca, E Moore, & lotto protected 18 1st.

Pelicans add a starting C, if they want to continue AD at PF. Holiday replaces Moore at half the cost, reunites the bros.

NO is a difficult partner. They're already week on the parameter so they won't give up Moore. The only other contracts are the awful ones of Asik and Hill. Just taking one of them back should be worth a first alone.

I'd only consider if they take back Felicio.

A 3rd idea, if no 1sts are gettable for Niko. Although Utah may decide the playoffs are worth shooting for if Clips and Pels start tanking.

Niko, Felicio, Holiday to Utah for Favors, Hood, and Johnson

Maybe we could dump Grant/Payne for Exum in deal.

Helps our tank. Gives us a free look at Favors and Hood, who may be resignable cheap - both have upside, and we are out of Felicio's contract.

Pels or Blazer are going to come knocking really soon for Niko I think. Niko/AD would be fun to watch then a rotation of AD/Cousins/Niko next year could be deadly.

Pels could also have interest in RoLo, maybe RoLo/Holiday for Asik, Diallo and 1st? Or a Niko/Holiday for 1st and fillers.

I’d do that deal but I think Pels will want Niko.

Kaminsky

Bulls draft Trae Young and are left with Nwaba and Dunn to protect him on defense. Young and LaVine probably can't coexist in the same back court because they would bleed too much on defense. Because of that, we would need to let go of LaVine (or make him a 20 million dollar bench unit leader). Batum slides into starting SF slot, Kaminsky learns from RoLo for a year before taking over starting job. Charlotte keeps Kemba, dumps Batum's salary, and gets to decide whether or not to keep LaVine in RFA. Niko and LaVine help them space the floor. Pipe dream?

It's for the 1st Round Pick and Cheick Diallo.

RoLo's mentoring is worth less than that.

Aminu has simply been way too important to the Blazers for them to consider that. Even if for some reason they did, if they include Aminu then they absolutely wouldnt add in a 1st, which is reportedly the Bulls primary asset they want in return for Niko.
