I wonder if we could get Ball thrown in instead NAW and next year's pick?

I would prefer NAW to Lonzo straight up, nevermind the pick.

I like the trade idea Spo, but don't really like Lonzo as a player. He is fine and would have been good for the 90's, but not today and plus he carries a lot of baggage. However, at this rate, if the FO/Billy D feels like Lauri was significantly mismanaged, I would prefer to find out what we have with him as this draft is pretty weak in terms of equal value. Two years ago, Lauri was averaging 19/9 in 52 games. Obviously, some of that was carried up by a February month, but that talent is intriguing.

However, NAW and 13th pick should bring two solid picks. The 2021 Lakers pick while not being good, the 2021 draft should be better than this upcoming one. I wonder if they would be willing to do the 2023 draft swap instead since Lebron will most likely being downhill and who knows if that team will be good or done?

Lonzo Ball is a perfect fit next to LaVine.

Saw this: https://www.nbaanalysis.net/2020/10/04/t-wolves-star-karl-anthony-towns-could-be-dealt-to-the-new-york-knicks/

also mentions Knicks targeting Lavine to play with KAT. IMO, they don't have the assets for both guys. As I see it, they have #8, Barrett, Robinson and their 2022 pick. That doesn't seem like enough.

New York is included in every rumor and they never come to fruition.

I can’t see why Minnesota would move KAT. They’re on their way to building a ‘Big Three’(KAT & Dlo) & they need to hit on the 1st pick or Culver to complete a trio.

Maybe Otto could get this done if his hip is problematic?

I doubt KAT is on the move. He might have been but they got his boy deangelo Russell there. Plus they have the 1st pick to build on a great core. They not dealing they best player at this time.

I think the knicks likely get cp3

Would think it’s more likely they trade the #1 than KAT. That would mean a full rebuild, which doesn’t make sense to me. They have a great young duo and the number 1 pick to pick or trade to make it a big 3.

Porter is damaged goods. Yeah, it doesn't help when he's overweight too, but let's not pretend he can just lose some pounds and his chronic hip condition is gone.

He won't play more than 40 games next season, book it.

That trade will happen only if Lauri is going to play C in New Orleans.
There's NO CHANCE IN HELL New Orleans will make 6'7 tall Zion fulltime C.

You're working off the assumption that Zion is anything close to a typical human being.

His legs are bigger than a lot of starting centers' torsoes and his 2nd jump/twitch is off the charts.

He can absolutely play center in this league.

He just needs to play in the first 40 games or at least until he gets traded.

Who would trade Lavine for Herro and Duncan Robinson?

Herro has 3 more years on rookie contract. Robinson 1. Then you have 20M in cap space too.

Trading Lavine for Hero and Duncan Robinson would be a fireable offense for the Chicago bulls front office. I don’t think Hero will ever be an Allstar. I think he will be an elite role player though. Duncan Robinson is the definition of a system player. Not sure how good he will be on a different team.
