I really like Ayo, good defense, good intensity, fast, nice drives to the hoop.. Certainly like him much better than Dotson. I even like Adams more than DD.

Simonovic has potential as I knew that before when watching him in Adriatic league. He is a atm sorta of a tweener 4/5. Lets see how he develops, he has a lot of work to do on defense, but is solid shooter, solid screener, IQ player..

I hope Baxter plays more next games.. He played combined 4min so far. Odd..

Patrick looks out of shape to me. Look at those noodle arms.

Pat looks bored. This **** too easy. Just strolling up here for a dunk. Floating around.

Pat really turned it up the rest of the game after a pretty awful 1st quarter.

That will happen with an undersized 4. Still not crazy about PF being his position next season. On offense I guess it doesn’t matter, but it will on defense.

Want to give kudos to the Bulls coaching staff who have made this years' SL into the "Give Pat practices doing everything on offence against live competition" bootcamp. Seriously, very smart! Pat is the only real asset we're focused on this year. Obviously, this isn't going to be Pat's role during the season and it is pushing him out of his comfort zone. It's really giving him some practical experience that is hard to replicate in practice, that he won't easily get in games next season, and will give him a few months to work on key areas.

Didn’t get a chance to see the game but I saw the Ayo miked up and was just glad to see someone communicating on D. I remember Williams said when he got here nobody was communicating on D so he felt he had to take that role on and for a rookie to walk onto a professional basketball team and come to that kind of realization is just sad to me. That’s really all guys like Zach, Coby and Lauri need is communication and someone helping them know what they need to be doing in a team concept defensively and they can make plays so that can really help our team d and Ayo can really help that bench unit with it so it’s nice having a guy that can do this well in each group.

The one downside to Pat playing so much at PF is that we aren't seeing much of Baxter. I really hope he gets our 2nd 2-way contract. I actually want Thompson to get the other one instead of Dotson.

Yeah, at this point I want Thompson and Baxter getting them. Dotson was really good in his first game, and had a few nice plays yesterday but his player archetype is really the last thing we need atm.

The troubling part is that those plays had nothing to do with size. It had everything to do w/Pat ball-watching, and lacking awareness that his man was crashing the glass.

Ayo did his best Dunn impression and completely took over the game. I like his potential to attack the rim and draw fouls. He is electric in transition and can finish through contact.

Ayo is a better shooter than what he's shown. Wonder if it's just nerves. He looked better once he got those steals and a few dunks. Sometimes you need that first bucket to settle you down.

Good for Williams on realizing he has to make an effort to be more assertive.

Pat's ability to create for himself on offense IMO is still way under-developed. I looked at Pat's college highlights, and then looked at Kawhi's, PG's, Jimmy's college highlights they showed more offense creation ability than Pat.

So it makes sense what Pat said that he's not naturally aggressive offensively with the ball in his hands. He needs to develop that instinct, that guys like Kawhi, Jimmy and PG has offensively. Now, I don't know how difficult is it to learn that, I mean some guys just born with it, some I guess have to figure it out, and I suspect it's a long process and will take some time.

I'm trying to think of somebody who started their career as an off-the-ball, known more for their defense, and ended up an primary / secondary scorer on their team. I guess those guys I mentioned, Kawhi, PG, Jimmy sort fall into this category. But, when I saw their college highlights they're actually pretty formidable on offense for their respective teams.

His biggest issue right now with creation is his handle. It may take a while to clean that up, but once he does he will hard to stop. He knows exactly what he wants to do, but can’t execute consistently right now.
