A couple more stops - a couple of 3s.
14 years is a nice run but it's time to end the Paxson era.

Prediction - Harden comes in, drives, and ends up at the line for a borderline call.

There are no words to describe how bad this game is. Our guys have to know that we are not the most talented team offensively, especially without Rose. With that being said, we should pride ourselves on out working the other team every night. There is zero excuse for us to get man handled on ANY night. Our effort has to be A+ for us to scrap out wins

Just need more tough defensive stops, which this team is used too and is capable of doing.

Asik should've been traded last year. GarPax have done plenty of good things, but that was clearly a mistake. You can't give a guy 25 million to back up Noah when you're intent on staying under the cap, and you shouldn't just let a guy as good as Omer walk for nothing.

or traded Noah. Its not unthinkable. Not if you have balls and confidence in your player evaluations. Not to mention never marrying your players. Thats what separated the top GMs and ownership from the herd.

True. But I 'd much rather have Noah. Omer was a luxury, a lottery ticket we unfortunately never cashed him when he clearly established himself as a starting caliber center and elite defender and rebounder.

We are going to lose, but it would at least feel better about the guys on the floor if we can get it within 10.

Wait, is the use of "15 minutes" sarcastic or serious?

Because I think we've all been over this before, but one doesn't hold against Asik the fact that a coach played him a certain amount per game. The player should not be judged on that.

Basically a jab at comments made by more than a few people who thought the Bulls shouldn't re-sign Asik.

Ah, understood then

I agree, although he got slightly better in Washington.

Didn't we hear rumors of the Bulls talking to teams about Asik? I'm sure they weren't shopping him but they were listening. They deemed most of what they got unsuitable. The Bulls still believed they could contend and dealing Asik without getting another big wouldn't have satisfied that goal.

It's a tough spot to be in. Boston traded Kendrick Perkins during a year when people thought they were contending, and everyone killed Ainge for it.

Just curious, with knowing that the bulls were trying to win a ring last year, how enthused would you have been with trading Asik in the middle of the season? Last year, their goal was to win it all, with the team they had and figure out things later. I also think they had intentions of re signing Asik, but the new CBA changed things in terms of how Houston or any team for that matter, could structure the contract. I'm critical of the FO many times, but hindsight is 20/20. Had the bulls traded either Asik or Gibson last year when we were trying to win, people would have been up in arms

Except Perkins was their starting center.
