At this point i'm taking any non-Knicks favorite news as a positive. Hopefully, like some have inferred, he gets these rumors going tonight, says it was close but I want the Bulls tomorrow, and threatens to go to L.A. if no S&T.

Anyway, word is, in the office, Melo's attorney's are heading into Chicago tomorrow. That is all I got.

Funny that's what came to mind too. Many posters have been talking about this as being a possibility when LA offered the max.

Because they don't have a roster. Or a coach. But they do have fat Kobe, and the promise to sign Nick Young.

Melo might as well stay in NY.

I tend to believe that the Lakers are leverage for a S&T to Chicago. Houston doesn't have the cap space to leverage Phil and there is a **** ton of "no way Phil lets Anthony walk to LA" reasons.

I simply don't believe that Anthony is going to LA. It's like getting the max in Chicago with the roster of the Knicks, what's the reason?

Lol man gtfoh. Lakers aren't getting nobody. You're like that 13 year old who wants to play 5v5 with the real ballers. Watch from the sideline little homie, wasting my time having to read about the Lakers now....bruh..

Unlike you I'm not even being rude or trolling but let's be real here.

Chicago hasn't lured a star free agent since they fd up with MJ and pip. They've had cap, the lakers haven't had any cap since 96. The bulls have an owner who runs from the tax and punches pennies, Jeanie buss is on record of saying they don't give a **** about the tax after they gave Kobe that extension. The bulls are banking on Rose who hasn't played in 2 years, had injuries and missed games before his knees gave out on non contact and he has confidence issues. They aren't getting out the east themselves and Melos not giving up money to log 40 minutes like how Deng was run into the ground when Rose goes down and Noah misses his yearly amount of games, as Thibs over extends his team, and their owner refuses to spend to compete. If the bulls really wanted to compete and show Melo they were about that life of spending like a real team with aspirations boozer gets amnestied over traded because it tells him we aren't cheap, just like the lakers have already said Nash is gone, we will feel out the team, pay the tax, and give you max while still raking in millions. That's real, but hey get your hopes up like with T-Mac and later on Bron/Bosh/Wade ... Maybe you should've took care of Phil/MJ/Pip like la did its own

Lol im just kidding man, I thought that was obvious.

You guys still suck though :D

My bad, lol I don't like being called kid was all.

I still say Chicago gets Deng back this summer and I like McBuckets. I don't really get why they aren't looking for a dynamic guard though. I think someone like Lance would be a huge backup plan for them, in uses Rose goes down and even starting next to Rose and pushing butler to SF.

I think Chicago is better than most expect but they have to add depth with to he ownership being willing to push the tax. Its easier to assume Rose will be healthy if they add depth and make it so guys don't overload on minutes IMO

Contrary to what people seem to believe here, not everyone's wives act as defacto bosses over their husbands.

Not all wives are created equal. Some are damn cool when it comes to stuff like this.

Being a husband....the kind that wants to stay married for the rest of his life...means you put your wife first. Not wife 1a and career 1b. But wife is first. Some of the attitudes i see here go to great lengths to explain our divorce rate. Being a wife is not about being "cool". Its about being a wife. When you marry, your family should trump all. People don't live to work. They work to live.

The divorce rate is so high because women believe this.

(not the family part and the work stuff...but the nonsense about wives being bosses and wives not needing to be "cool,' whatever the hell that means. what the hell happened to an equal partnership?)

I've said my peace. Y'all go right ahead and keep " shaming melo" for being a considerate husband (if that's what he's doing). And keep shaming lala for....never mind.

All I'm saying is I don't blame him.

So is the thought Melo to LA and then a Love trade? That's the only way this makes sense to me. Unless it is the leveraging for a S&T with us. If it's Lebron Kobe and Melo that is just so redundant. Love would make a heck of a lot of sense though and he does love LA. Kind of worried about LA coming out of nowhere like this.

-Beastintheeast says rock out.
-Some rando says Melo's lawyers are going to Chicago tomorrow.
-RILEY IS IN CHICAGO.
