Best bat in the whole org after King Tuck.

Bummed for Happ. He was playing great.

PCA leading off and Mo Baller batting DH will be a blast to watch.

What a nice comeback win today. Have to beat up on these weaker teams. Now a chance for a sweep.

PCA : 4/5 today with 6 RBI. I think he'll have a strong chance to make the all-star team this year if he keeps this up.

Voting doesn't start for a bit, but if it were going on right now, I would imagine he would be among the top of the NL vote getters. He's having a hell of a season so far.

PCA is flashing MVP talent right now. Ridiculous numbers. He may be the funnest watch in the game too.

Matty Ice Shaw leads off with another bomb.

3 bombs in last 7 at bats.

Let’s get this kid right and get him back up at 3B. We have the worst 3B production in all of baseball.

And he just hit another 2 run shot.

The White Sox are an embarrassment to baseball.

That defense is little league trash.

Happ may lose his leadoff spot when he returns. PCA is destroying.

Sweep of the AAA Sox.

Cards been on a tear. Would like to see our Cubbies go on a run with these weak opponents.

Run has already started I think we're like 5-1 last six games . 10 wins in may matches last 2 years win totals.

Another series won. Should have been a sweep if not for a bullpen meltdown. Cade Horton with a stellar performance today, and just enough hitting.

Shaw looks like himself and adding that at 3B to the worse offensive 3B in MLB… that’s gonna help.

Looks like we will have by far the best offense in baseball once Shaw settles in.

Biggest questions now are pitching…
- Can Horton or Brown establish themself as good SP
- Can Palencia become the closer with Hodge out
- Is Hodge the closer when he returns?
- When do Cubs go all in via trade? For a closer or ace SP?

Hodge has no argument over Palencia IMO.

I think they give Palencia a shot, and if hes not super convincing then they go all in on a closer. I just don't think there are any true aces attainable. We only hear about Alcantara who just simply is living off past reputation at this point

I hope they don't give up a great prospect to rent a closer for the season. I'm so impressed by some of the guys they've brought up recently- PCA, Cade Horton, Ballesteros, Shaw- these are the future. Don't sacrifice too much for one season. But if there's a position of duplication, such as Ian Happ- where is he going to play now?

Ian Happ, the b2b2b gold glover who happens to be one of the best OBP men in the game AND who also happens to be our captain is not a duplication. He's the primary.

There's no prospect jam at the moment. Ballesteros doesn't have to be up. He got his taste and is still incredibly young for AAA. You don't really need to factor him in this season at all.

The most likely prospects to be traded seem to be Caissie, Long, Triantos, Alcantara

Yep. I’d add Rojas and maybe Franklin as well. I was thinking Turner was going to get cut and Long would replace him as righty bat at 1B but now he’s finally hitting a bit.

I’d want to keep Jaxon Wiggins too. He looks to be as good as Horton in talent.
