On top of that, there's only so many minutes available if we're going to be giving Valentine a bigger role.

Since we're rebuilding, the Bulls could look at a young SF who needs a change of scenery. Stanley Johnson comes to mind. He has the physical tools to be a solid defender in the league. Offense needs work, but he has skills.

I used to want him, but now Teodosic is just getting in the way of Dunn's development. :banghead:

So back to trades, I'm sure we'll need to let the major dominoes fall before we can trade RoLo or Wade.

I want to amp up the "Trade Wade" mantra. I think he came here with the right mindset, but has shown to be pouty and could hurt young guys development. I think Wade has plenty of game to contribute as a 3rd option or 6th man on a contender, I just hope someone takes him. I'd be thrilled if we could get an old-overpaid high-character guy on a bad contract back along with an asset, but I am starting to have doubts.

I wonder how desperate the Knicks are to shed Noah. Wade/Lopez/Payne or Grant for Noah/Hernangomez would make me happy.

Free Lottery ticket. If he makes it, we can always trade him for Futures.

I have to think that he is the reason the Bulls have hesitated on Rondo's contract.

Got a trade with Houston and Charlotte for you guys:

http://basketball.realgm.com/tradechecker/saved_trade/6894176

You send out: Rondo and Canaan
You get: Anderson, Dekker, and Charlotte's top 10 protected 2018 1st

Houston sends: Anderson, Dekker, and Beverley
Houston gets: Rondo, Lamb, and Canaan

Charlotte sends: Lamb and protected 2018 1st
Charlotte gets: Beverley

I know you guys have a ton of jump-shooting bigs already, but you're not trying to win games right now. And if you think about it loading up on a shooting frontcourt makes A LOT of sense. Other than Markkanen your future is Dunn and Lavine and they need to be able to move in space to make the most of their abilities and develop. You also add depth at SF with Dekker and pick up a 1st for taking on Anderson.

Any takers?

This makes no sense. Its time to go full Dalibor Bagaric (only play stiffs). Play awful basketball for at least one season. Sit Lavine till mid February and keep him on a silly minutes restriction. Trade Lopez for anything.

Bringing in a euro vet at >8 mill is ridiculous. He will have too much pride to play behind Dunn. And if he outplays him, well that is the worst possible scenario.

This front office is tough to defend.

I think Houston is gambling its entire identity, and I don't think Paul is going to mesh with D'ntoni. I also think in a league where the title is all but a conclusion for the Warriors, that this will be fun to watch, and Im glad at least one front office is willing to take a punch at the bully.

Also, Clips are prob a tanking candidate if Blake leaves too.

Wow. James Harden goes back to SG on offense. Him and Paul on the backcourt would be interesting.

Nice!

HOU adding more firepower to take a shot at GSW.

Splash Bros vs SLASH Bros

I dunno how Harden and Paul work it out but they will because they are both hungry for a title and will sacrifice.
Have never been a big fan of CP3 but I really want to see anyone take out the Warriors.

They are gonna need more than NENE to deal with KD.....
Who would you add?
