II know currently Alyssa Thomas is like the current Westbrook type triple double maker. But I think Caitlyn will just rack up a ton with like 15+ asts. I can really see that.

Ha, that’s awesome!! Maybe you are Noh in secret???

Did he used to actually post here? I’m pretty certain Kelly Dwyer used to, but don’t recall his handle, so maybe I’m thinking of Kelly here.

Nice work in any case.

I know Angel Reese gets the press but can we get some love for Chennedy Carter? I know some people don't like her but she has been balling out all year for the Sky. Carter/Reese/Cardoso is definitely an exciting trio for the future of the Sky.

5, although I'd argue 2 weren't her fault.

Pretty crazy that she was basically out of the league for disciplinary reasons, and now he's playing at an all-star level.

She and Reese brings a certain toughness with them that once both players are comfortable in their games will make them a difficult team to play against.

Did the sky really bench Cardoso in the 4th until Angel got her 10th rebound yesterday?

Nah but T-Spoon has had some odd rotations lately. Especially with Cardoso. Issy has been really good the last 2 games and was easily the best yesterday. So she deserved to be in. I think that was Ange's least impactful game in several weeks.

There is zero point in doing that. It only makes sense if you want Reese getting to 10 rebounds

She’s damn good, deserved an all star berth. Too bad her intro to the world was the Clark check.

I don’t condone what she did, but it does happen in this game. No one shows Clark was mixing it up and chirping on the other end. Still doesn’t make her actions appropriate, but it’s not behavior we haven’t seen before in the NBA.

Hope she continues to let her stellar play take the spotlight as she has ever since.

I think Caitlyn will get 20 assists in a game before her rookie year is over.

He use to post here, albeit not much. He was more active on BlogaBull.

After a decidedly mixed start, Clark has figured out the WNBA and is shredding it. The all-time WNBA rookie record for double-doubles in points/assists is 3 games for the season. Clark has had such double-doublees 5 games straight now, averaging 19/9/12 during that stretch. That's a whole lot of production for a league that averages 81 points per game.

She’s one short of the overall record

In truth, I put the double-doubles out there as an example of how different the level of her contributions have been from the WNBA norms, but such records are kinda nonsense. Mike knew, when he once notched 7 consecutive triple-doubles, to show that they were no big deal for him, and then he stopped collecting triple-doubles, because that's Russ Westbrook stuff.

The crazy thing is this is her floor. Really its the last 10 games where she has made the switch.

Caitlyn with the Fever is now looking like Caityln on Iowa. I don't know who to credit for that. Caitlyn or Coach Sides. I know everyone hates Coach Sides but maybe she deserves a little credit?

The players are in better position, they run better and Caitlyn is finding them. I actually think Caitlyn's turnovers are going to be high for her career. I just think Caitlyn can see things faster than her teammates can react to. So while her assists to turnover rate may never be the best, she will still easily be the leagues best passer. If she actually keeps this pace, she will end up at around 9.7 assists per game. Which is insane as a rookie.

Her NCAA game has perfectly translated, once the initial adjustment period was over.

On turnovers, yes she will always be high. I realized this when, of all things, watching a video made of her when she was a HS senior, by Iowans proud that they had a national-level recruit. It turns out that her grandfather was a sports coach (football, I think) who taught the Clark family that the way to compete was with "reckless abandon." That is her lifetime approach; she won't be changing that because people are counting her turnovers.

Nobody complains when an NBA player misses 60% of their 3-pointers because the payoff is worth it. I see Clark's turnovers in a similar manner. She creates so many easy buckets that they offset the occasional bad pass.

She is not "actively harming" her team. Total nonsense.
