He's got a proven track-record at this point.

Track record of what?

Getting traded by management that doesn't know what they're doing, as shown by the fact that 2 out of the 3 FOs of those teams have been replaced?

Teams getting worse after trading him?

Of wearing out his welcome every team he has played for. Every single one. We'll see what he does in Miami once things aren't all rainbows and butterflys.

We just got rid of management that thought Jim Boylen was doing a good job, they fired the coach that Jimmy said was too soft for being too soft.

Minny ownership thought Wiggins was worth keeping over LaVine and vetoed Thibs.

What team was Jimmy wrong about?

Top to bottom it has to be about player development and the HC is going to be critical to that effort.

I agree, and I think we're only arguing semantics really. I also think the head coach needs to prioritize developing and working with young players and being able to manage a young group.

See, this whole discussion could have been avoided by you saying this before.

Technically he was wrong about the Heat since he said he'd never join them

Younger guy too so maybe he'd be able to connect with today's players.

Nets just hired Steve Nash to 4 year deal. Where the hell did that come from? Was there even talks that were publicized?

Sorry, I have Stockholm Syndrome. Considering Kirk as our next coach, wanting to trade down our high pick to the #7-8 range, liking Tyrese Haliburton from Iowa State.

    Send help!

At least the Bulls won't be the team doing the most explaining all season why in the hell they hired the guy they did. To pluck Nash out of the third balcony (no left field in basketball) to coach the superstar team. Even Kirk as coach wouldn't be as much of a shock.

Wow the Nash hire is a huge surprise. Probably a GSW effect since him and KD were there a couple of years. I'm confident Nash would do well.

Ty Lue to Philly. The Nash to the Nets was a surprise to everyone.

I could see Bulls announcing our new coach before labor day since I see everyone else is agreeing to deals.

Nash went from being an analyst for Champions League soccer on TNT to a head coach of the NBA lol. Not sure how he will be as a coach but he was obviously a great player. I wonder if this is who Durant and Irving wanted?

Nice to learn that Dan Craig has Team USA experience. I was looking for someone with that. Heat org is first rate, learning under Riley, Spo and Pop and Coach K is nice. Doesn't seem like a dumbass in the one interview I just watched haha.

Only reason I'd like Craig is to just use 007 nickname and all of the references that would go along with it. Who will be Octopussy?
