We gotta push this lead back up pronto. It's time, BG.

Haven't read the whole game thread, so maybe this has been covered already.

But if WE had a talented 2nd year player who was 0-6 with 2 turnovers and who was getting burned by his counterpart, we would have yanked him LONG before he had the chance to rack up those stats-- and long before he had a chance to redeem himself, as I'm betting that Aldridge will do before the game's over. :nonono:

I agree with your basic point and would love to see Tyrus get more minutes, or any minutes, but the implied analogy isn't totally apt either. Aldridge has done a lot more to establish himself than Tyrus in these two years. I know their opportunities have not been equal, but it's still not totally the same either.

Well blowing out the current media darlings and the "new Bulls" would turn some heads and announce to the rest of the NBA that the Bulls are back.

No not really

If we beat Orlando this past week, and start beating teams we should and then start beating elite teams, yeah we'll be back.

We're not even in the ballpark of being back. This team is fickle. Just wait till we get Jumper Happy within a game, and then game to game.

I'm sure Aldridge would still develop if Adrian Griffin was starting in front of him.

That said, we all knew he was more NBA Ready to start with.

I can't stop spitting out excuses like correcting your use of inaccurate stats you apparently don't have a link to. Good rebuttal Sir.

I didn't make myself clear enough. I was not intending to equate Tyrus and Aldridge. I have stated on many other occasions that I wanted LA for our team and I consider him to be the superior player right now by a large margin. I meant to make a point about our coaching staff's quick trigger with young players, which extends to Noah as well as to Tyrus. And besides, Aldridge got all kinds of opportunities to play through mistakes last year when he had not yet proven so much.

That's all.

So I turn on this game to watch during halftime of the Orange Bowl and all I see is Chicago missing long jumpers and leaving the Blazers shooters wide open.

What happened to the big lead?
