These next three games will be true statements games. We have not beaten an Eastern conference opponent over .500 on the road this season. Now healthy, it's time to change that and send this conference a message we're a force to be reckoned with at home and on the road.

I've been waiting months for tomorrow night! I got great seats at the "Highlight Factory" to watch D Rose make some. The joke around Atlanta is that opposing teams come in to make the highlights. I would expect to hear some MVP chants for D Rose.. I'll get a megaphone if needed.

That will do couple of things.

1 - It will give us a big time confidence boost and will show everyone including Bulls fans that BULLIEVE, we can make the finals.

2 - We will be very close to 60-wins after that as the rest of the way is much easier. Meaning Rose will most likely be the YOUNGEST MVP EVER!!!

Let's do this. Not easy but this is where we take that next step - RIGHT NOW! Not next year or later, RIGHT NOW!!!

Who holds the record for youngest MVP, and how old were they?

The youngest player to ever win the MVP Award is Wes Unseld, who won after the 1968-69 season at age 23 for the Baltimore Bullets.

Bob Pettit (1955-56 St. Louis Hawks), Bill Russell (1957-58 Boston Celtics), Wilt Chamberlain (1959-60 Philadelphia Warriors), Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1970-71 Milwaukee Bucks), Bob McAdoo (1974-75 Buffalo Braves) and Moses Malone (1978-79 Houston Rockets) all received the award at the age of 24.

It doesn't get too easy too fast because we also play the Hornets, Bobcats and Hawks right after these three games. Why are we playing Atlanta three times this month????? March 2, 11 and 22. That's crazy

It is a little odd but it's awesome! Since I live in Atlanta I get to go see 2 meaningful Bulls games post-allstar break! woo!

I've only watched one game since Noah came back, do you guys think our offense has improved with his return?

This game will come down to bench play, Noah versus Horford, and protecting the 3 point line.

As I see it, the only way Atlanta beats us is with the three ball that points the Bulls to focusing on controlling Johnson and Crawford.

Bogans vs Johnson
Brewer vs Crawford

Brewer should be able to guard Jamal pretty easy. How well Bogans plays Johnson is another matter. If we force the ball away from Johnson, our defense should make it hard to establish any shooting rhythm for Atlanta in this game. We should also be able to control the interior with our front line. We have to do a decent job keeping Horford off the board and out of the paint. I'll take a Horford jumpshot all game if Atlanta wants to live and die by that. Also, we'll need our bench to beat theirs and we should. Korver, Brewer, Watson, Gibson, and Asik are better than their reserves as long as you control Crawford and I like Brewer guarding Crawford tonight. Big, physical defender to disrupt his rhythm.

It should considering Jo is our best interior passer who can also attack the goal with his handles. Jo is still finding his MoJo. Once he's got it we'll be pretty damn good.

I'm more concerned tonight with how Noah plays Horford. Good point of note is that the last three times Horford has scored over 20, he's also had 5+ offensive boards. We need to keep him off the glass.

Atlanta is 7-2 when Horford grabs 5+ offensive boards a game.

Atlanta's notable home losses:

Boston, Dallas, Utah, Milwaukee, Philly, Charlotte, New Orleans.

They only have one notable win at home versus a decent team. Orlando where Orlando shot 35%.

We should win this game mainly because we match up too well for Atlanta.

Per Swirsky - Josh Smith is out for the game with a right-knee sprain.

Good for us. Bad for Atlanta.

Remembered this post... Bulls are actually 3.5 point favorites tonight.

We definitely seem to be getting out on the break more and he seems to be beasting the offensive boards for us.

I can't say. Spacing has been off. And Noah is clearly not comfortable shooting the 12-15 foot jumper; he hasn't even looked for it yet, let alone shoot it. And before his injury, he was hitting this shot with pretty good consistency.

Offensively, what I'm focusing most on is how Boozer and Noah interact and then how Rose reacts off that.

This game is huge. That isn't an overstatement. And now with Smith out, its not only a must win but a clear should win.

If things shake out right, we could actually make a positive move during this three game stretch before the schedule gets soft. That could determine our shot at the #1.

Orlando plays Miami tomorrow, and will then be on a back to back when they play us on Friday. It will also be their third game in four days, against three very strong teams.

And Miami will be on their back to back on Friday when they play the Spurs, and will also be on their third game in four days against tough competition when we play them on Sunday.

The schedule has lined up as well as it can for a brutal 3 game road stretch. We need to take advantage and at least hold our ground.

I can't believe we are a 4 point favorite on the road in this one.

If we get the 1 seed we might win it all.
