Clearly a shooting forward.

Listed 6'7 220. Worked hard in summer. At least 6'7 225? Just saying. Not a SG. Never.

He calls himself a guard in that interview. Realistically with Deng being here he'd never get much time at SF, but he can obviously play the 2.

Ron Artest: H: 6' 6" & W: 244 lbs

I remember well When Artest started and he could not shoot anything. was mainly a defender. Then later he developed an outside shot and became a decent shooter. It only happened after he was not longer with us if i recall correctly.

Every time I see Jimmy in the floor he reminds me of Artest: Great defender and in a learning process to become effective offensively.

Although I guess Jimmy can play at SG, I dont think giving him SG rights in his rookie year playing very little is something id expect to see in a fantasy league...

So even, lets say he plays at Sg, so in his 8mpg he plays 1 minute average at SG?? And all cause he plays on 3rd string and lack of healthier SG in the floor?

On topic: If the debate is between SG and SF, why would any position eligibility other than SG/SF make sense? Just list the players at the positions they are going to play. He won't play any PG/PF/C, so don't give him eligibility where he would never play.

jimmy can shoot, just needs some confidence. But he's a sf,that can play some 2 if he starts believing in his shot.

According to Thibs, the positions are interchangeable.

I think his natural position on offense, my guess, is SF. Defensively really he should ideally be able to play both. I voted SF but he's a wing player.

Thibs would probably laugh at the poll, as he treats the wings, he says, as the same, but, really, I'm not sure I buy that 100%. I mean he says they are the same and interchangeable yet Deng plays SF and some PF. /shrug

Anyway, I think for him to have maximum value as a backup, hopefully the answer is he can play both, like Korver and Brewer.
