Let's see ... Deng is going to earn over 13 million next season and will miss at least the first third of the schedule. Why wouldn't teams be dishing out great offers to the Bulls for that?

Just amnesty the scrub instead of trading away our best players for garbage.

Nothing has happened yet and we don't know the trade. Golden State could be finding a 3 team trade. What if they offered the Bulls:

#7, #30, #35, #52 + Good player back --> Chicago
Deng --> Warriors
Biedrins + GS Future Pick --> Third Team

We don't know what they would offer.

Tommy Udo stated that "Golden State was desperate for Deng". Maybe they'll go all out.

I have thought a three team trade might be possible, if indeed the Warriors were that serious. That said, any thoughts on who would be willing to take on the salary? It seems unlikely, though.

Biedrins expires in the Summer of 2014 like Deng. Maybe Biedrins could be bought out as well.

Basically if we acquire Biedrins for Deng, we'd be under the tax this year if we cut Watson, Korver, and Brewer.

Invalid Trade.The minimum salary that GS would have to send out would be 10,612,000 since they are close to the cap. Biedrins makes 9,000,000 and the picks are worth 0.

EDIT: my mistake, I forgot about the new 150% trade rule for non-taxpayers.Regardless the trade still sucks.

ESPN Trade Machine says otherwise. Warriors have a little cap space so they can absorb the remaining part of Dengs Salary.

If we're able to trade Deng to Sac or GS for their pick and can trade Boozer for a SF like Turkoglu, what do you guys think about drafting Thomas Robinson?

So we're using Deng + Boozer to get Robinson? Yikes.

Boozer isn't that bad. He's our #3 Option. If we clear Deng, we don't really need to move Boozer anymore.

I agree that Boozer is a solid 3rd option, I just don't think a guy like Barnes is a better option than Deng.

There better be a third team involved because Deng for a bad contract and an unproven rookie is a step backwards IMHO.

With Deng you know what you got. With the seventh pick, you get a possible bust and Biedrins or Jefferson's albatross contract.

Robinson isn't going to be on the board at #5 and #7.

I'm looking for teams that might have interest in Biedrins .....

Atlanta ? for Marvin Williams ?
Milw. ? for Udrih ?
Sac ? for J. Salmons ?

any other ideas ???

Robinson compares to a poor man's Blake Griffin.

Bulls have plenty of PF's.
