Wall is no surgeon in the halfcourt. He's gotten better, he's only elite in transition. No shame in that he's great at it. Even last game when the Bulls played them he wasn't successful until he was able to get in the open court and use his speed. His game still lacks pace and tempo in the half court as well as a consistent jumper.

lol..........spoken like someone who never watches us and is going by the one game against you guys. I guess Rose sucks then because of this recent stretch. Wall's had a million other games this year when he's ate teams up in the halfcourt. Anyone would tell you that. Mostly every team we play comes away saying that he's like CP3 or Rondo except a better athelete.

You dont lead the league in assist by being terrible in the halfcourt. You dont get guys like Ariza & Webster paid or make Butler into a stud by being weak in the halfcourt. Just admit that you havent watched him much. Anyone can see that he's been a beast in the halfcourt since returning from injury the season before last. You never hear any Wiz fan talk about that when even they were the first to admit his halfcourt problems

Wall is nice and all.

But its Rose that tonight is gonna ball.

Also, a lot of us have been thinking that Rose tends to play well against top PGs and doesn't really "care" when the opponent PG is not that good. We'll see how he does against Wall.

he does rather well, 5-0. MVP, not MVP, 2 years pause or no 2 years pause. He eat's him for breakfest.

5-0 means nothing when you guys were clearly a superior team for 4 of those games

Surgeon, now that's a fancy name. Saying Wall is no "surgeon" doesn't make him weak in half-court. I wouldn't call Wall a surgeon either. Stockton, Nash, Kidd, etc were surgeons and Wall is simply not on that level. At least not yet.

Again, this doesn't mean he is not a good player. In fact, he is easily one of the top PGs in the league.

P.S. I've seen about 10 Wiz games this season.

As a current Baltimoron, I'll be at the game tonight. I went to college in the DMV area and have a lot of friends that are Wizards fans unfortunately. Hoping Rose somehow manages to tear Wall a new one tonight and that we get that W. Feeling pretty good about a strong bounceback game from us after whatever the hell it was that happened on Wednesday night.

both of those posters said basically if you keep him out of transition then he cant hurt you. Im not saying that he is Nash & Stockton but I will say that in the rare times we do go small, he looks very much like them. He always wants a space big and we never have it. When the floor is spread then he can dissect a defense and get to the rim at will. Still is much better in the halfcourt then these guys think. Every analyst will tell you that

Bulls need to bring the freaking intensity every game, that loss to Utah was totally unacceptable. Come out tough and play like you give a dam every game!

Good point. Counting Roses wins against a Wall team that had the likes of Javale McGee (Shaqtin' a Fool's national spokesman), Blatche (enough said) and Nick Young (Swaggy-P) when Rose's team was going head-to-head with the Heat is not a very good argument.

Can't believe I am saying this, but we could really use Dunleavy. Has he definitely been ruled out, they said a few days ago he was prigressing well.

Hopefully Debrick Rose is dead. And Derrick Rose is alive, again.

Bulls are still clearly superior. Wall is a good player but he doesn't really scare me when he's on the court....I'm never afraid of him as a bulls fan. It also helps that the bulls seem to have the wizards and raptors number. The wizards are just good bum slayers to me feasting on lower teams.

how are you clearly superior and how do you have our number when we beat you guys last year? You have our number because of one game this year?

I have about 5 different superstitions or hunches that make me think we're losin this game. So it'll probably be an exciting comeback last second win for us that I'll have missed due to being too superstitious.
