That has more to say about our bench being young and inconsistent than anything. If our bench played semi better we'd won that game. MCW and Doug out hurts us.

It's long season though I have hope they will figure it out

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

When Portis struggle u got to adjust right on the fly and Fred didn't do such that. Yes Lopez can't guard stretch four/fives and not mobile but I take my chance at least Lopez may contribute some other areas while Portis who continue to struggle in all aspect of this game.

I even take a risk and play small do something when a certain thing doesn't work make a adjustment quickly.

Thank you. Were people not paying attention the amount of PNR's they were running at the top? There's no way you can put Lopez in that with a big looking to shoot or put the ball on the floor.

This **** isn't on Fred.

Explain and do not say it's because Lopez couldn't guard speights. That argument has no weight to it at all because speights scored 20 on the guys who were supposedly able to defend the 3.

Mo Speights is not mobile. He's a stationary shooter.

And putting in the right lineup X's and O's wise doesn't work when you're replacing a competent NBA player (Lopez) with a terrible one (Portis).

i dunno how you watch the first 12 games of this season and don't recognize lopez's significant value as an offensive player for this team

our guards ignore bobby when he's wide open. you shouldn't torpedo your offense out of fear that an inability to guard mo speights will lose the game for you, especially when mo speights is already carving the defense up

I don't think the problem was solely playing but just the lack of trying something different. Bobby was getting cooked and on the other end couldn't even get a board.

Lopez might have gotten cooked too but at least we'd try it out.

Speights had 16 and crucial offensive rebounds. This is no argument

Name one shot Speights got off Portis that he wouldn't have gotten on Lopez? Come on now.

The offensive rebound and put back early in the quarter for sure. Whether he would have or not Lopez should've for sure been on the floor. If Bobby and Niko aren't defending him what's the difference? Bobby did nothing on offense and Mo wouldn't have been able to stop Lopez.

Yes, Lopez gets that rebound. But he also gives Speights a few more open looks because he can't move his feet in space. Perhaps Lopez could have been on Blake, but I think Fred wanted Taj on Blake. And putting Lopez on Speights at the 3 point line is just ridiculous. Taj, Niko and Bobby are your only options for Speights.

The Bulls' bench didn't score well to sustain the lead. The Bulls gave up wide open 3s in the end too.

Lopez would have done better than Portis.

Right gameplan from Fred but poor execution. If you are getting toasted. Switch it up earlier.

I would have played Canaan, Grant, Wade Jimmy Taj

If the Bulls ever get it together long enough to try and make some noise, they would probably need to upgrade the bench bigs.

Fred needs to just have a short leash on Portis.

Honestly, might just be better off going with Taj and Lopez for 35 mins each, Niko for 20-26 and Bobby can get 0-6.

I'm not buying it. If anything Lopez would've stepped out and made Speights put it on the floor which would've led to good things for us.

One issue we must address asap...How to defend stretch 4s...Lakers have none of that so we are good tomorrow...But I wonder what are we going to do when we play Houston with a guy like Ryan Anderson? Are we going to ride Bobby Portis the entire game?? If so, let me know so I can make other plans.

Nope. You put Jimmy on him.
