The howard trade was a stomach punch.
If you were told that following the trade the bears would be the worst offense in the league, does it sound like a good move?
No absolutely not.

This offense isnt playoff caliber, anybody with eyes can see.

David Montgomery gets some carries - look at how nicely this offense moves.

David Montgomery is better than Jordan Howard.

They just needed to give him the ball.

He had a nice carry.
Thats about it.
Honestly there is zero body of work to even say that.

His skillset is greater than Jordan Howard's. Better pass catcher, more elusive and more dynamic. The fact that they haven't used him much doesn't mean he's not better.

The problem with the team is not the talent at the RB position, it's just the usage of said talent. Railing on and on about Howard is silly because the problem lies with Nagy, not the roster.

Well i cant defend Nagy.
Tbh the talent at rb is easily questionable.
Its hard to say that Mont could start for any nfl team.
The kid is having a good game today though.
We are seeing some power running formations and a clear plan of attack for rushing the ball.

The issues always have been Naggy, O-line, and Trubisky. One of those issues, mainly O-line, will be addressed over this offseason for sure. The other two must require self-assessment and self-improvement.

Terrible read by Trubisky on that interception.

Then an awful overthrow that should have been a touchdown.

Then a completely unforced fumble.

Amazing.

Honestly ive heard the adage, you cant over throw a good receiver.
Guess it stems from a receiver needs to be 100 mph all the time.

Anyways i dont usually see mitch over throw robinson.
Just get this win

Excuse my language but the entire defense should take turn sodomizing Trubisky after today performance. The dude is mentally weak and just sucks at playing football.

That is excessive, but Trubisky is the weakest link.

We have posting standards on this board that you've regularly lowered. This is the most extreme example of it. It shouldn't need to be said, but jokes about rape aren't tolerated here. You've already been suspended for three days, so this time it's an automatic week, and if there's another issue after that it'll lead to a complete ban from the board. You obviously enjoy posting here, so if you value this board work towards becoming a more valuable member.

Terrible miss by Pineiro. But questionable that Nagy didn’t try to run the ball to get it a little closer.

What a disgrace of a kick. Mitch wasn't good but he was good enough, especially at the end. SMH.
