Maybe once Rose agreed with the Knicks, Caruso was the Plan B deal lined up already.
Rose is also making close to $5mm more per year.

I was sad to lose Temple but Caruso jumps right into the same role while younger, faster and less likely to foul a 3pt shooter.

Don't get me wrong, I am bummed about losing Temple's leadership on this team but Caruso is a dobermann

Do the Bulls see Coby White as a shooting guard for sure now or are they planning on trading him?"

I know Sato and Temple are gone but the Backcourt is a bit crowded, with Ball and Ayo joining the fold, wouldn't be surprised to see a trade happening to bring in front court help. Coby might be on the move.

AC is a really good role player. He makes things happen, brings good energy. It's a good addition in a nutshell. Really not sure if he's worth the MLE but he brings something to the bench.

Rose got almost 15 mill per from the knicks

I would have loved rose back but not at that money.

7-9i would have been cool with not 15

Good for Rose but Caruso def helps our bench a lot

How did we pry him from the Lakers? They had his Bird rights I believe. They needed him back, right? AK doing some selling!

I don't think Coby is effected by this. Caruso is more of a shooting guard. I think this is more Coby insurance. AK made it seem like Coby might take a while to recover. They probably don't want to bank on Coby being productive for another year.

I haven't watched a heap of him but apparently is a very good defender. We've just brought in a bunch of guys that can defend the guard spots which was one of our major weaknesses last year.
