Oh, lord, me too. You can see all the athletic gifts are there - it's not just that he has just those angry dunks but looks like defense is there and a nice outside stroke. Need to see if he can fit in a system and is coachable. That's the stuff you wonder about.

Ayo tweeted thats just his summer league number. I think he's gonna try to wear 11.

This guy is a real sleeper. I'm rooting for him, exactly the type of player I want on the roster if he can put it together.

He's Australian, came up through the Nets and Bulls G League coaching staff, joined Billy's staff last year.

Baxter and Bey are definitely the 2 most intriguing guys to watch out for. If either of them can earn a 2 way or like 15th bench spot that is the type of flier we should be taking at this point.

definitely get the impression that AKME and BD are not just partaking in Summer League to say they are SL champs but are using Summer League as a chance to evaluate cheap prospects that could help next season.

I love the looks of Bey and Baxter

From video...Baxter has legit elite run and jump athleticism...

It is unbelievable that he shot 41% from the field and only grabbed 3.7 rebounds during his college career. How the hell is that even possible? He shoulda have blindly stumbled into 5 rebounds for no reason.

Well I guess that depends on JaVonte Green (currently 11) whether he comes back or is gracious enough to pass the number onto the rook.

But thanks for that.

went to look up his stats and holy cow, i was not prepared for how bad jerome robinson has been in the league

dude went one pick before mpj and now he's not even a particularly intriguing summer league body, tough break

Also should mention that I'm very excited to see how Simonovic, Ayo and P.Will goes - a lot of talk about the unsigned players

Want to see P.Will dominate obviously

Love seeing BD involved with the Summer League squad. Not sure how common that is for a head coach.

But yes, like someone said, he's probably there for scouting purposes too.

I think BD is primarily there to focus on Pat's development, which could be the lynchpin for our success this/next season.

What do you guys think will be priority for Pat Williams? Will they push him as the primary option to try to get his confidence up? Will they have him work on a specific skill (off hand, playmaking, ball handling, post defense, PnR defense) to try to make him more complete without pushing him out of his current regular season roll significantly.

I’m always so intrigued what a coaching staff is going to do with the best talent on a summer league roster. If they let him go iso all game it doesn’t let you evaluate the rest of the team, is not going to be too helpful once he is back as 4th option in the regular season, and can give a false sense of confidence given the inferior level of play in summer league.

I think just showing him where the 3pt line is so that he can practice not stepping on it on 3pt fake and practice ball protection while dribbling in the paint would be very helpful. Maybe also just practicing the PF position on defense.
