Most fun game of the year.

Maybe KPs terrible defense is all it take to get Vuc going. Guy went inside for some easy ones, loved the approach.

Loved that they had Vuc shoot the tech, just getting him easy points and build the confidence.

The game turned when Caruso figured out Brunson IMO. Watching Brunson flop around like a fish out of water, getting nowhere in the 3rd and 4th was a sight to see.

Ball shut down the chubby superstar over and over. Great overall game by him, not just the shooting. 21, 6, and 6, no turnovers.

The Caruso steal, Ball rocket, and Lavine 360 is the play of the season, and a microcosm of what AKME envisioned with their signings.

Demar was smooth throughout.

That Mavs team is Luka and role player garbage. Can’t believe they were a sleeper champion by some talking heads.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong

Not sure why some are being so impatient. It is unrealistic to expect the new team to be firing perfectly on all cylinders out of the gate. Especially a big guy in a new role.

Confounding. Lakers fans are already mourning AC while watching Westbrook’s continued demise. Supposedly they only offered 2/15, and turned around and offered THT 3/32. Yikes

Great game. All around.

If I have one complaint, it would be how their offense was stagnant during the Zone D. Need to get that fixed fast. Don't want to set up any blue prints.

Other that that. Keep it going. Huge win!

Caruso has a bizare stigma stuck to him of being a "bald white guard" and somehow thus implying that he shouldn't be very good. And thus the meme'ing and scalbrine'esque "MVP" chants that come off as a mockery.

The dude is an obvious plus plus player on the court. But the masses, as well as executives, can get hung up on appearances and stereotypes and thus make wrong decisions consequentially.

Yeah we haven't talked much about how much this offense demands from Vooch so far as reading cutters, coverages and making sharp passes. His shot's been off because he's focusing on his offensive role as a whole. You can tell because a lot of those misses were the kind a guy makes when he's new in the offense and he's not quite in his usual spots. When a guy is missing three-footers 6 inches to the left the problem's not the shot. He's just not where he's used to being on the floor.

Let's hope that's all behind him and he hits the gas pedal on this road trip.

I’m really happy for Vuc. It’s no secret that I’m not sold on his fit, but see the skill. He played a really good game tonight and if he continues to build on this one, oh boy will I be happy to be wrong.

He could really work some pretty sets with Derozan and Zach if he’s hitting shots to keep the D honest. Great game by the big fella tonight.

Yeah, the "MVP" chants need to go away. He's not a mascot. I assume most of those fans have their heart in the right place and they are trying to show they love the effort, but it is awkward.

Any real fans near courtside need to lead with "CA RU SO" before the MVP chants start, then.

Can't prove this cause I haven't been to the UC since preseason but I think they started showing the "Let's go Bulls!" chant prompt on the scoreboard when Caruso does something awesome.

We have an 8-3 record with LaVine playing injured and our 4th best offensive player out of the rotation.

Imagine what we’ll look like at full strength.

Yeah, I think people underestimate that players take time to get familiar with each other - including me at times. But hearing from professional basketball player, they would say it takes them months to get used to playing with each other. The fact that even with Vuc's struggles we had been winning just bodes well for us long term.

+1

There’s also the thinking that AC’s gaudy defensive stats/metrics were due to playing alongside Bron and AD. That was wrong, and this season is proving that.

With Lonzo, AC and Ayo locked up for the next few seasons.. we really have a defensive identity now.

Vooch finally came to play on the offensive end. First game all year he looked like himself. Hopefully he is all the way back.

Zo was amazing on his 3s. Caruso was amazing defensively. Loved Zachs aggression for most of this game. That angry dunk was amazing.

The team is playing with an edge which hopefully can pull them out of a funk when it happens. The confidence is infectious.

only 11 games into the season, players around the L taking notice. What's being built now will hopefully put us in contention going forward for a long time.
